Our office attempted to meet this patient’s dental needs in good faith The patient was scheduled as soon as possible when she stated that the area was infected and painful Our dentist treated the patient appropriately based upon his finding at the time of her visit Only after the patient no showed her appointment and a fee was charged, did she voice any of her concerns This patient signed our financial policy and was fully aware of our policy regarding pre-paying to reserve her appointment and our cancellation policy The patient’s husband came in after her scheduled appointment and stated they wanted their money back and never even acknowledged that she missed her appointment While the patient sat in her car we attempted to resolve her husband’s concerns He made statements about another dentist telling them there was no need to be seen, as we called that dentist and was told that this is not what was said The patient put in a complaint with their credit card company and after their review they said they found nothing to support the patient’s complaint, so it was dropped We never mistreated this patient nor kept money not owed to our office We dismissed the patient from our practice in order to allow her to find a dentist that can better meet her needs We value our patients and their privacy according to HIPAA and the law are unable to disclose any other information

As a dental office our patient's information is confidential and due to all the rules and regulations regarding patient privacy, our office has a strict policy and it is of the utmost importance to us to protect that information. Therefore our office does not discuss patient information with...
