This Dog has been groomed at our salon times a year for several years now this was his 26th visitHe is a pleasant little guy to work withI did not groom him on this particular visit he was groomed by *** *** who has been a pet groomer for yearsHe was groomed
on a table not feet from where I workNothing out of the ordinary happened to *** on this grooming visithis body and legs were clipped down with the clippers that have a vaccume attachment that not only removes the hair as it is being clipped but also does not allow the blade to become heated during the grooming processAt no time during ***'s grooming did he show any signs of stress, nor did I ever see any blood from a cutAs you can see from the pictures of *** after his grooming he is happy and comfortable standing on the tableHe does have discoloration of saliva stains from licking himself down both front legs. but there was certainly no blood on his foot and I was not contacted by the owner that there was a problem until days after the dog's grooming visitAfter my conversation with her I called Dr*** who is her vet who assured me that there indeed was a hot spot on the dog's neck and in no way were we at faultI did, as a good will gesture, offer to groom the dog myself as the shop owner but was refused by the dog ownerThe groomer, Ms*** does not believe she owes the client a refund as she performed her job and that was concurred by Dr***. Ms*** stated that Dr*** is a gentleman and would not point a finger, so does not believe it was not the fault of the groomerI take Dr*** at his word as he too is a professionalMy offer of a complimentary groom still stands , Ms*** will no longer groom this dogI also have no ill feelings toward this pet owner, I understand just how important our companion animals are to us and the need we feel to protect themWe never want to see any harm come to the ones we loveThere is no one to blame for this hot-spot as Dr.*** said*** *** QoC NCMG
