I was given a quote for $for KLM Vanline (also know as LS Investment) to move my belongingWhen they show up they raise the price to $I did not have any option since it was too late for me to find another moverI got my belonging a day lateI open my filing cabinet right away since I forgot to take out my money from there, I was hoping it was still thereUnfortunately it was goneI remember who pack my cabinet so I called the moving company to let them know and the manager (David)was so rude and did not help at allI would definitely not use this Company again and would NOT recommend to anyone

I've moved a few times over the past couple years, and I've hired movers for every single relocation Typically, the mark of a good move is how little you have to say about it afterward, success measured by the absence of calamity It's telling then that on the day my family moved from Los Angeles to Seattle, my wife and I ended the night talking about just how much we loved KLM and how impressed we were by the work they'd done From the beginning, they were consummate professionals They replied to all of my messages promptly and clearly They showed flexibility and patience during the scheduling phase (as our closing date kept moving) But nothing could prepare us for the efficiency, thoughtfulness and care they took on the actual day of the move KLM treated my possessions just as I would treat them if I were both stronger and less lazy I'll offer one telling detail: at a certain point in the move, Ben, one of the co-owners, was wrapping up a spare chair I'd had for years He noticed a loose screw on the bottom and asked if it was all right for him to fix it How many movers leave your furniture in better condition than how they found it? The packing we had them do was done swiftly but without any waste Not a scratch on a single glass or plate The Eco-Boxes we rented were nothing short of a godsend, shortening our packing and unpacking by hours On top of it all, co-owners Ben and, David and their employee, were such pleasant company They never winced at our requests or at the weight of the boxes we asked them to carry up multiple flights of stairs Instead, they gave us luxury service at a reasonable price and a fine first memory in our new home I cannot recommend this company highly enoughI see the bad rating on here, and it blows me away that the Revdex.com gives these guys a bad rapLook when you are using a moving company, the rate can fluctuate based on different packing requirements, stairs etcBut as I said before KLM was more than fair with the rate, and did a excellent job

We had a terrible experience with KLMWe were charged DOUBLE the quoted price but you have to pay or your items don't get loaded (the new homeowners were outside waiting for us to leave)Our belongings were in a wreck (lost ,damaged, and wet items totaling about $3000.00) KLM did NOTHING to help us get money for damages KLM knows how to stay JUST above the law and get away with criminal behaviorBEWARE!!

The professional sales approach of Alex was more realistic than other companies out there and that's what turned me on the most with KLM Van LinesAs far as being on time, they didn't show up as I was told they wouldGranted I knew where they were coming from, there's no way they were going to show up at 6:or 7:o'clock in the morning unless they left around 3:or 4:o'clock in the morningI'd rather be told the truth Second, I was charged $to have my 70-inch $10,television set crated because I don't have the boxWhat they did was put a makeshift paper box around it, so that's not my idea of a crate which is a wooden crate that you have to make with hammer and nailsI never got a credit back for that yetThird, the crew in San Diego is phenomenal on the loading and the unloadingBut what happened was that they didn't have a truck, so my stuff was sitting in the street at 4:o'clock in the darkJosh was still looking for a truck and I have a hard time wrapping my head around that Then I get tire marks in my drivewayI told them not to bring the semi up my road because there's nowhere for it, but they did it anywayI've got a nice patchwork going around in my yard, and the semi up driver did some destruction on the way out, knocking over my neighbor's planter, rolling over it, and demolishing itThere was again a lack of communicationBut overall, when you're trying to do a move, it's one of the hardest things in anybody's lifeThe logistics of making it happen is hardSo overall, it could have gone smoother, but I'm not going to complain as long as I've got everything hereI just hope they do reach out to me and put a credit back on my account for services that I didn't get Overall, I am satisfied with the service they gave me, and would use them again, although after this experience (not completely their fault!), I hope I never have toMoving sucks!

I used KLM for my move out the east coast, and everyone from my sales rep Phil, to Ben, and his crew were efficient, and professionalI received a great rate, and everything got here in one pieceI would definitely use them again

I don't normally leave reviews, but I have to say that KLM did a great job moving my mother's belongings from Las Vegas out to me here in NashvilleShe passed away after a very long struggle with cancer, and it was a very stressful situation to begin with, and the driver Ben, and his crew were very courteous, and understanding (I was very frazzled during the whole process!)I just wanted to take a minute, and say thank you guys for the service you providedI know most people will only go on here to complain, and I thought it was the right thing to do to let people know that these guys are professionals, and did a great job

I hired KLM to move my belongings across the US, they quoted a price, then after arriving a day early doubled my quote, I had to agree, or postpone my departure to locate another moving company, they were very friendly and courteous at the time of pick up, however they were a week late on arrival, and were very rude, and obnoxious, they opened up all of my boxes, stealing laptops, dvd players, alot of my items were missing, I filed a complaint they only offered me $for several thousands worth of missing and damaged items, then wanted me to notary a form accepting the offer, when I attempted to go into arbitration, they stalled me week after week, until finally sending me a check which I never cashed, please do not use these movers, they will give you a low quote at first then increase at last minute, please spend the extra upfront, it will be well worth it, wish I could go back and do things differently, lesson learned

Terrible, uncaring attitudes! Untrustworthy! Do not believe the quotes they give you. They will tell you anything to get your deposit then will start changing the story. Mover almost got into a fist fight with a neighbor, and they left the house smelling atrocious. Definitely the worst moving company experience I've ever had.

KLM handled my sister's move San Diego to Fort Lauderdale Florida. The guys were efficient and the price was fair. There was a little bit of damage to one of the end tables but nothing major. All in all they did a good job.

I've moved a few times over the past couple years, and I've hired movers for every single relocation. Typically, the mark of a good move is how little you have to say about it afterward, success measured by the absence of calamity. It's telling then that on the day my family moved from Los Angeles to Seattle, my wife and I ended the night talking about just how much we loved KLM and how impressed we were by the work they'd done. From the beginning, they were consummate professionals. They replied to all of my messages promptly and clearly. They showed flexibility and patience during the scheduling phase (as our closing date kept moving). But nothing could prepare us for the efficiency, thoughtfulness and care they took on the actual day of the move. KLM treated my possessions just as I would treat them if I were both stronger and less lazy. I'll offer one telling detail: at a certain point in the move, Ben, one of the co-owners, was wrapping up a spare chair I'd had for years. He noticed a loose screw on the bottom and asked if it was all right for him to fix it. How many movers leave your furniture in better condition than how they found it?

The packing we had them do was done swiftly but without any waste. Not a scratch on a single glass or plate. The Eco-Boxes we rented were nothing short of a godsend, shortening our packing and unpacking by hours. On top of it all, co-owners Ben and, David and their employee, were such pleasant company. They never winced at our requests or at the weight of the boxes we asked them to carry up multiple flights of stairs. Instead, they gave us luxury service at a reasonable price and a fine first memory in our new home.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I see the bad rating on here, and it blows me away that the Revdex.com gives these guys a bad rap. Look when you are using a moving company, the rate can fluctuate based on different packing requirements, stairs etc.. But as I said before KLM was more than fair with the rate, and did a excellent job.

KLM knows how to stay JUST above the law and get away with criminal behavior. BEWARE!!

The professional sales approach of Alex was more realistic than other companies out there and that's what turned me on the most with KLM Van Lines. As far as being on time, they didn't show up as I was told they would. Granted I knew where they were coming from, there's no way they were going to show up at 6:00 or 7:00 o'clock in the morning unless they left around 3:00 or 4:00 o'clock in the morning. I'd rather be told the truth.

Second, I was charged $350 to have my 70-inch $10,000 television set crated because I don't have the box. What they did was put a makeshift paper box around it, so that's not my idea of a crate which is a wooden crate that you have to make with hammer and nails. I never got a credit back for that yet. Third, the crew in San Diego is phenomenal on the loading and the unloading. But what happened was that they didn't have a truck, so my stuff was sitting in the street at 4:00 o'clock in the dark. Josh was still looking for a truck and I have a hard time wrapping my head around that.

Then I get tire marks in my driveway. I told them not to bring the semi up my road because there's nowhere for it, but they did it anyway. I've got a nice patchwork going around in my yard, and the semi up driver did some destruction on the way out, knocking over my neighbor's planter, rolling over it, and demolishing it. There was again a lack of communication. But overall, when you're trying to do a move, it's one of the hardest things in anybody's life. The logistics of making it happen is hard. So overall, it could have gone smoother, but I'm not going to complain as long as I've got everything here. I just hope they do reach out to me and put a credit back on my account for services that I didn't get.

Overall, I am satisfied with the service they gave me, and would use them again, although after this experience (not completely their fault!), I hope I never have to. Moving sucks!

On March 14,2016 I submitted an online request for a moving quote to move my daughter from Bowling Green, OH. to Pittsburgh, PA. KLMVanlines, also known as Moving and Storage, representative Dave responded by phone. He quoted me an original price of $1390.79. To secure that price I had to make a deposit of $390.79. Later that day I called him back to add some items to the move and include a second pick up location in Sidney, OH. That increased the price to $1798.20 and required a second deposit of $147.41. I had several conversations with Dave between 3/14/16 and 4/27/16 to confirm the service details. The dates they gave me for pickup were to be either 4/27/16 or 4/28/16. Their dispatch center was to call me the day before pick up to give me a time frame for their arrival. I did not hear from them on 4/26 so on 4/27 I called to find out about the pickup times. Dave told me to call the dispatch center at 844-384-3872. I had several conversations with the dispatch center on 4/27. They wanted to push the pickup back to 4/29 and I said okay but after speaking with my daughter called them back and said no, that will not work. The contract was for 4/27 or 4/28 and my daughter had to be in Pittsburgh on 4/29 to sign the lease for the new apartment. They finally said they would pick up in Bowling Green on 4/28 between 4:00 and 6:00pm, then come to Sidney to pick up the rest of the stuff. On 4/28 I received a call from the Columbus, OH dispatch center, 614-300-2820, stating that they would pick up in Bowling Green on 4/29 in the morning. I again said no that won't work and that the other dispatch center has said they would pick up on 4/28 in the late afternoon. She (in Columbus) said that was not going to happen and they would be there on 4/29. After numerous phone calls, all me calling them as they never returned a call as they said they would, they finally said they would call me by 8:00pm eastern time on 4/28 to tell me the time for pick up on 4/29. I arranged to take the day off of work to drive to Bowling Green to meet them. They never called back. I tried to reach my rep, Dave, several times and left messages for him to call. He never did and still hasn't to this day. Fearing that they would not show up I then contacted a different company out of Ft. Wayne and they completed the move. KLMVanlines has never responded to my calls or messages, nor did they show up on 4/29. Since they failed to fulfill their contract I wanted to have the deposit amounts refunded. I tried several times to contact Dave with no luck. He would not answer my calls or respond to my messages. On 5/4/16 I called a different number, 818-201-6603, I found online for KLMVanlines and spoke to Tom who referred me to his secretary, Caroline, 818-678-9136, who assured me my refund of $538.20 was on the list to be processed and I would receive it within 7-10 business days. On 5/16/16 I called her again and she said it was processed by them on 5/5/16 and I should check with my bank. She said she would check into it on her end and call me back. I have not received any calls from her or anyone else affiliated with the company to this date. In order to get my refund, I contacted the dispute resolution center of the credit card company. They just settled the dispute on July 28, 2016 issuing me a full refund of the charges. The actions and attitude of Klm Vanlines and their employees were horrible. This experience caused extreme stress and worry not only for myself but for my husband and daughter.

I was given a quote for $1500 for KLM Vanline (also know as LS Investment) to move my belonging. When they show up they raise the price to $3000. I did not have any option since it was too late for me to find another mover. I got my belonging a day late. I open my filing cabinet right away since I forgot to take out my money from there, I was hoping it was still there. Unfortunately it was gone. I remember who pack my cabinet so I called the moving company to let them know and the manager (David)was so rude and did not help at all. I would definitely not use this Company again and would NOT recommend to anyone.
