Customer vehicle was looked at by our service managerafter it being diagnosed we found that the battery was dead at a very low chargeThis is what caused the vehicle not to start and the engine light to come onWhen customer came in they demanded a new vehicle and explained to them this was
just a battery issue and replaced the batterycustomer was still hesitant at taking vehicle so I located my service manager to give a better reason as to why this happens(vehicles sit on lot for months at a time sometimes without being started) after battery was replaced and customer was explained the issue was resolved and the vehicle has since not had any other issueWe can not take back a vehicle for a battery issue as we explained to the customer as it was a simple warranty issue that is now resolvedwhile the customer vehicle was being looked at we also gave them a loaner vehicle and recleaned the muranoI have since reached out to the customer to make sure everything is ok, but with nothing but negative aggressive conversation in return.let me know if I can do anything else to help
