CLIENT IS MIS-LEADING AND MAY WANT TO REVIEW ALL EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS THERE WAS NO CHANGE ON OUR BEHALF OF WHAT WAS AGREED TO IN THE INITIAL DISCUSSION AND THE DELIVERY OF THE SERVICE, EXCEPT FOR THE NEED TO BRING IN AN ADDITIONAL PERSON TO ENSURE ALL DECK BOARDS WERE REPLACED DURING THE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT THERE WERE SEVERAL CHANGES ON CLIENT’S BEHALF OF WHAT WAS AGREED TO IN THE INITIAL DISCUSSION AND THE DELIVERY OF THE SERVICE WE PROVIDED WE DID NOT CHARGE HOURS TRAVEL TIME CLIENT IS NOT DISPUTING AMOUNT INVOICED FOR ELECTIRCAL WORK CLIENT IS DISPUTING HOURS OUT OF A TOTAL OF HOURS FOR CARPENTRY WORK FOR THE CLIENT TO ALLEGE THE CARPENTER WAS ON SITE FOR HOURS IS MIS-LEADING LIKE MOST OF HIS COMMENTS ARE AS CLIENT IS ALLEGING WE DELAYED THE PROJECT WE ARE COMPELLED TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING FACTS WHICH CAN BE PROVED IF NEEDED CLIENT LEFT A MESSAGE MAY 22ND INDICATING HE WANTED A QUOTE CLIENT’S CALL WAS RETURNED THE FOLLOWING DAY, THERE WAS NO ANSWER AND A MESSAGE WAS LEFT AFTER A FEW MORE ROUNDS OF EXCHANGING MESSAGES WE CONNECTED MAY 26TH (HOLIDAY WEEKEND) AND DETAILS WERE PROVIDED CLIENT REQUESTED A QUOTE TO REPLACE ONE (1) ELECTRICAL SWITCH, REPLACE ONE (1) BATHROOM SINK, UNCLOG ANOTHER BATHROOM SINK, REPAIR SLOW COMMODE AND REPLACE FOUR (4) EIGHT FOOT (8’) ROTTEN FLOOR BOARDS AT DECK ALTHOUGH WE HAVE REMOVED AND REPLACED A FEW FLOOR BOARDS “HERE AND THERE” AT DECK IN AND PER CLIENT’S REQUEST, BECAUSE THE ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING WORK WOULD BE PERFORMED HOURLY DON DID NOT SEE THE NEED TO ASSESS THE DECK TO PROVIDE A QUOTE TO REPLACE FOUR 8’ BOARDS A QUOTE FOR ALL WORK ON A TIME AND MATERIAL BASIS WAS EMAILED JUNE 1ST CLIENT EMAILED JUNE 2ND INDICATING THAT HE WOULD PROBABLY HAVE A FEW MORE DECK BOARDS REPLACED WE REITERATED PICKING UP MATERIAL, TRAVEL TIME TO JOB SITE AND REPLACEMENT OF BOARDS WOULD BE PERFORMED HOURLY AND ADVISED HIM THAT HE COULD HAVE AS MANY BOARDS REPLACED AS HE WANTED CLIENT ACCEPTED JUNE 7TH AND ADDED ADDITIONAL ELECTRICAL WORK DETAILS WERE OBTAINED FOR THE ADDITIONAL ELECTRICAL WORK AND THE DETAILED PROPOSAL WAS EMAILED JUNE 9TH CLIENT FAXED SIGNED PROPOSAL JUNE 12TH INDICATING HE HAD A DEADLINE FOR PLUMBING WORK WE ADVISED CLIENT WE COULD NOT MEET HIS DEADLINE AND CANCELED PLUMBING WORK ACCORDINGLY JUNE 14TH CLIENT STATED HE WANTED A TOTAL OF 69’ OF DECK BOARDS REPLACED AND INDICATED THAT ANY DAY NEXT WEEK WOULD WORK EXCEPT JUNE 22ND, AND THAT HE WOULD BE OUT OF TOWN JUNE 22ND THRU JULY 1ST JUNE 14TH WE ADVISED CLIENT ALL WORK IS SCHEDULED IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER UPON RECEIPT OF SIGNED CONTRACT, AND ADVISED CLIENT CARPENTER WAS BOOKED TWO TO THREE WEEKS OUT CLIENT BECAME IRATE AND THREATENED TO GO ELSEWHERE IF HE HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER THREE WEEKS WE RESPECTFULLY ADVISED CLIENT WE ARE EXTREMELY BUSY AND TO GO ELSEWHERE IF HE NEEDED TO WE NEVER HEARD BACK FROM CLIENT UNTIL JULY 24TH WHEN HE CALLED STATING HE WANTED TO SCHEDULE THE WORK ELECTRICAL AND CARPENTRY WORK WAS SCHEDULED FOR THE FIRST AVAILABLE DATE ON AUGUST 21ST AUGUST 21ST THE CARENTER’S TRUCK BROKE DOWN SO ELECTRICAL WORK ONLY WAS PERFORMED THAT DAY WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE WORKING CONDITION OF VEHICLES CARPENTRY WORK WAS RESCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 29TH AS WE ACCOMMODATED CLIENT’S FIRST AVAILABLE DATE WHEN RESCHEDULING CARPENTRY WORK THE CARPENTER WAS HEAVILY BOOKED THAT DAY BECAUSE CARPENTER WAS HEAVILY BOOKED, AND BECAUSE THERE WAS A HIGH CHANCE OF RAIN EXPECTED AND IT WAS ALREADY RAINING IN COLUMBUS, THE OWNER MADE THE DECISION TO BRING IN A SECOND PERSON TO ENSURE ALL CARPENTRY WORK WAS COMPLETED DURING THE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT THE OWNER EXPLAINED THIS TO CLIENT ON SITE UPON HIS ARRIVAL AUGUST 29TH AND ADVISED CLIENT THAT HE WOULD WAIVE THE SECOND PERSON’S TRAVEL TIME CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGED VIA SEPTEMBER 2ND EMAIL THAT HE UNDERSTOOD THE SECOND PERSON’S TRAVEL TIME ONLY WOULD BE WAIVED THE CLIENT WAS INVOICED LEGITIMATELY, WHICH WE PREVIOUSLY ADVISED HIM THE HOURS CLIENT IS COMPLAINING ABOUT IS THE TIME IT TOOK OWNER TO DRIVE TO LUMBER YARD, WAIT HIS TURN IN LINE, PLACE ORDER FOR DECK BOARDS, GO GET HIS TRUCK, DRIVE OUT TO THE YARD, WAIT IN LINE AGAIN, HAND SELECT STRAIGHT PREMIUM BOARDS, PLACE BOARDS ON LADDER RACK AND STRAP THE BOARDS DOWN CLIENT DID NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE LUMBER INVOICE TWICE, HE REQUESTED A COPY ONCE AND IT WAS PROVIDED CLIENT WAS NOT OVER BILLED FOR TRAVEL TIME CLIENT WAS INVOICED HOUR TRAVEL TIME FOR ONE PERSON CLIENT SHORT PAID US BY $ THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED OWNER KNOWS BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT THAT THE HOURS TO PURCHASE DECK BOARDS IS A LEGITIMATE CHARGE CLIENT MAY DEDUCT $FOR THE HOURS IT TOOK OWNER TO PURCHASE HIS DECK BOARDS TO “CLOSE THE BOOKS ON THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE” BY THE WAY, AS CLIENT CHANGED SCOPE OF WORK SEVERAL TIMES WE REQUESTED MATERIAL SPECS ON FIVE SEPARATE OCCASIONS FROM JUNE 7TH TO AUGUST 10TH AND ULTIMATELY NOT ALL INFORMATION WAS PROVIDED

We had vinyl residing. One gentleman showed up to my surprise. He worked quickly and efficiently asking us questions all along the way and even skipping parts and going back to them later if we were unavailable. He was very professional and courteous.
The house looks great.
