I am rejecting this response because:After consultation with my Builder, the $amount offered by KMS systems, INC seemed to be insufficient to complete the scope of work that they were contracted and paid forThey should be responsible for costs related to the completion of their unfinished work with the money that they have collectedThe change in contractor in no way affected their ability to work on the house and all outstanding invoices from the previous contractor were paid in an expedited manner and with good faith that KMS would complete the work. An arbitrary dollar amount set by KMS does not seem be the correct way to decide how much work is left and costs associated with the completionI would be happy to have a third party consultant decide on the proper amount. The City Building Department has recommended that the Department of Business and Professional Regulation Administration be notified of KMS Systems, INC behavior.
Regards,

[redacted]KMS Systems agrees to return and complete the Siding portion of the project. We would like to meet with you and Steve Tuesday May 12th @ 4:30pm to review the final scope of work to complete the Siding. KMS Systems agrees to return May 18th and begin the efforts to complete the Siding and ask that materials reviewed and identified on May 12th be present and ready for us to resume on May 18th. Per Steve, you have asked that [redacted] "your friend" complete the Beam and Post portion of the original agreement and KMS agrees to this
and
has already issued you a credit of ($1,on invoice #dated 1/11/2015)
for this. KMS asks that you agree to returning the credit ($605.23) for the squares of siding you received on invoice #date 1/11/and additionally pay $(Squares) to re-install the siding on the rear 2nd floor.Regards,[redacted]

This house simply was not ready for the
siding installation to
begin. As a result, there were many
delays and re-works required by KMS Systems.
There was a change in General Contractors/Builders causing
additional costs, delays and re-works carried by KMS Systems
As a result, KMS Systems has chosen not to continue working
under these conditions. KMS Systems
agrees to return any collected compensation for work not complete
In fact, KMS Systems made a Good Faith Effort not to collect
unearned compensation and issued credits that were approved and accepted by the
home owner, for work not complete at the moment the home owner changed General
Contractors/Builder
In fact, the day before the Revdex.com complaint by the homeowner,
KMS Systems attempted to resolve the expressed compensation concerns with an
email dated 4/28/requesting acceptance for immediate re-payment to home
owner for work not complete in the amount of $1,
KMS is eager to resolve this but does not think it is fair that
KMS Systems be responsible for the cost of hiring a new team to complete the
work due to all the major issues cited above
KMS Systems asks that an agreement be reached whereby KMS
Systems returns any compensation for work not completed
