One didn't answer and the other gave a quote that was $200 more than KMV. 2 men from KMV ended up coming to my house. They were there in less than an hour. They were great. They tried to snake the main line and found it to be a broken line on the side of my house. They scheduled a time to come back and fix it for me and were right on time. They treated me like a family friend. They were honest and fair and I will absolutely be calling them back for any future plumbing needs.

Review: I found this plumber in the local area. When I made contact with the owner by phone he told me that he's in the business of serving homeowners in the town of [redacted] and helping them out. I told him that I'm a new homeowner in town and my toilet was leaking from the base and water was running downstairs through the ceiling. He told me how to turn the water off. He came over and sealed the base and straightened the bowl out. He told me the toilet was old and charged me three-hundred fifty dollars. Two weeks later it would not flush and I called him and he came and charged me 100.00 to snake it. He then told me That I need a new bowl. He said that the flap was small and outdated and the flush capability was going and tried to explain to me that I need a new bowl with a lager flap that has a stronger flushing power. I said why would you let me spend 450.00 trying to fix and old bowl instead of just suggesting to install a new bowl. He laughed and made light of it and said that he only does what the customer asks. I felt that he new this bowl was no good but he still went on and let me try n fix it anyway and charge me because I didn't know any better.Desired Settlement: I would like him to acknowledge that he should have suggested for me to invest in getting a new bowl instead of charging me for fixing an old bowl and remove this old bowl and install a new one that I purchase for nothing.

Revdex.com, KMV Plumbing was first called out to this customers house for a leaking toilet which was leaking to ceiling below. Plumber found wax gasket was rotted so KMV removed toilet replace with new wax gasket and re-set toilet.

Following week customer called again and stated that toilet was clogged, so Plumber snaked and cleared toilet and made sure toilet was working properly before he left.

A few days later customer called again with clogged toilet at that time she did not want KMV to snake again but had asked Plumber to if he could adjust the temperature on her shower diverter, which Plumber did and we charged her only 10.00. On this visit out I did recommend to her that maybe a new toilet would be a good choice for her due to this old one maybe not having enough flush power.

In our business, drain cleaning /snaking is never a guaranteed service as we do not know how much use and what people are flushing down their toilets. Also the day the complaint was received KMV Plumbing called the customer at the number listed in email and offered to install new toilet purchased by her if it would be agreeable for this conflict resolution . [redacted], from KMV left detailed message and she has still yet to return the call.

Because we made all correct efforts to make this problem right we would like to have this complaint removed or we will no longer be able to be part of the Revdex.com. This is why we were skeptical from the beginning in going Revdex.com. The economy is tough for everyone now and I think some people just don't have the money to pay professionals as they use to (we are also a struggling business). Please let us know how this is going to pan out for KMV Plumbing LLC.
