I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I would like to note that the business was NOT calling the phone number provided to them numerous times on voicemail, original requests and in email (I also find it hard to believe that Google Mail was down for an extended period of time). The business was calling an outbound only landline I use for work that I called them from one single time. In all my messages to the business I provided my mobile number (which is how they contacted me initially to come do the original bid, collect payment, etc.). In the end, it's clear that a lack of organization and follow through are to blame for this issue.

We took a $350 deposit on a yard clean up. This job was scheduled to be completed 6/6/2016. We made contact on Monday, the day of the scheduled job. call him back after we got Brandon home and could evaluate to reschedule. Jessica called him back, there was no answer, and could not leave a message on their phone due to no voice mail being set up. I sent a text. The phone number that we were provided was a landline. Due to email problems with google business we did not have the ability to reply via email. Several phone calls had been placed but there was no answer or availability to leave a message. We will issue a refund in full $350 via money order as soon as the bank is open tomorrow morning and deliver it to their residence on Saturday, 6/11/2016. I will send back the specifics on the money order to prove that it was paid in full.
