KNB Motors Reviews (%countItem)

On October 12, 2019 me and my husband (Michael ***) went to KNB motors to purchase a 2015 ford focus S sedan, after my husband test drove the car and we were about to purchase it my husband mentioned there was a check light on the dashboard, we asked the sales person (Rudy) if they were going to have it fixed and he said yes but I will have to make a down payment for the car, I asked what was the least amount I could put down, and when will we be able to pick it up and Rudy said $100 and we can come collect it on Tuesday (October 15, 2019). We paid that $100 via check.
On October 15, 2019 I called KNB and asked Rudy if the car was ready, he said 'no it had not gone into the shop as yet but it should be ready the next day'. I called again the next day and spoke to rudy and he said the same thing and told me it would be ready by Saturday (October 19,2019). On Saturday I called KNB and Rudy told me there was a major issue with the car and they wouldn't be fixing it and they are going to take it off the market, and if there is another car I would be interested in. I said no and I would like to have my down payment refunded. He said no problem, took my mailing address and said they will go ahead and mail a check to me Tuesday (October 22, 2019).
I called Tuesday and he said it was approved only need to be sent out. I called On Friday October 22, 2019 Rudy told me he will speak with the manager and get back to me. I called on Wednesday October 30, 2019 Rudy told me I need to speak with Diana about this refund but Diana is not in as yet. I called back later that evening and Diana asked me why am I speaking with her about my refund, I need to speak with veronica or rudy. On November 1, 2019 in the afternoon I went by KNB motors to speak with someone about my refund and rudy told me that veronica had just left and the boss isn't around. I called yesterday (November 5, 2019) to speak with veronica and was told she isn't in today.

Hello Sasha

the phone number that we have on file for you does not work. I have tried to contact you a few times. We are happy to mail you a check if you would like or you can stop by to pick it up. Please contact Rudy and let him know the address where you would like your check mailed or time and day when you will stop.

Thank you

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because I have not gone to pick up the check as yet. I will accept it soon as the check is in my possession:

Sincerely,

Sashane

On Feb 16th this year I have purchased 2012 *** ( VIN *** ) from KNB Motors. I have found the car on Offer Up and the name who listed it was Slava, ( ). It stated that the car has REBUILT TITLE. Which made me ask questions such as :
- Is everything ok with the car?
- What kind of damage was on it?
- How is the engine, all good?
- Timing belts replaced recently?
- Does it have any leaks?
- How are the brakes, tires, etc.?
On all my questions I received a positive answers, such as :
- Everything is perfect with the car. We bought it, did inspection on it, replaced all that was needed. There is no leaks, timing belt is good, WHEN OUR GUYS CHECKED IT, IT LOOKED GOOD, brakes as well, etc.

Now, I am not a mechanic, I can not look up around and tell if something is wrong with it but I test drove the care and it was running pretty good, plus I believed in all they told me since they should be obligated to disclose any damage they are aware off, I hope.
On that note, I applied for the loan, negotiate the price and purchased the vehicle.
One week in, I got check engine light on. Took it to the mechanic and they did an inspection on it: ( everything I am saying here can be documented ):
- brakes bad,
- tires all with bumps,
- engine mounts worn out,
- timing belts and water pump bad,
- and some minor stuff.
Now, at this point I have reached out to the dealer and ask them why did they told me timing belts are CHECKED AND GOOD so no need to replace, I had an answer that "that is all my problem now, VIDEO RECORDED AND POSTED ON ( SLAVAS ) *** CHANEL HOW STUPID PEOPLE ARE BUYING VEHICLES, you signed AS-IS condition". I started replacing parts slowly. Took it to the mechanic again and they have found CRACK IN THE ENGINE BLOCK.
This type of damage HAS TO BE NOTICED IF CHECKING THE TIMING BELTS. They knew about all the damage, and I can prove that. They lied and did not disclose any damage they new about.

I had a very positive experience with this dealership.
I would purchase a vehicle from them again.
Thank you!

I purchased a 2012 *** from KnB motors and the vehicle was financed through ***. I recently tried to trade the car at another dealership and it turns out that the car has a salvaged title, and *** and the KnB dealer didn't notify me about this problem, also last year
when I went to look at the car, the dealer from KnB didn't let me test drive the car and I'm not the only one he's done that to. Jaqueline from *** knew that it has happened before. I called *** today to let them know that I had no knowledge of it's salvaged title or that the car had flood damage. The dealer in St Charles motors notified me of these issues, and they showed me all the car fax that *** and KnB failed to do so! I already submitted a bad review last year on the Revdex.com website without knowing the car had a salvaged tile issue.

Costumer signed all the paper work that states that he purchased a car with rebuilt not salvage title and he paid for it much less then comparable cars with clean titles. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you

Nick

Came there yesterday to check out *** Odyssey for my family .This place has really big assortment. The staff was friendly and fast . Norris took time to explain the workings of the vehicle. The transaction went very fast too. I left with my new *** in less than 40 minutes . I highly recommend this dealership.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership that I found advertised on *** motors. It was a 2017 *** which I was ensured had an Illinois rebuilt title. Meaning it was inspected. Well the title took 2 months to arrive as opposed to 7 days as promised and it was a Missouri title. It turns out it was junk in Illinois and not legal for this place to sell the vehicle. Also after 2000 miles put on it it became clear that it had major structural issues. The car has frame damage and destroyed all 4 tires. *** in Minnetonka, MN quoted me $3800 to remedy the frame and $900 for 4 new tires. This is not okay for a business to do this. This was a junk vehicle that the salesperson told me there was a "deer" accident. I have that in writing. I have all paperwork as well that indicates I purchased this in Illinois at this dealership. I have a witness as well as I got a ride from Minneapolis to pick up my new car. My "new" car. I'd like to either return the vehicle or have it repaired properly. I'm more than happy to pay for miles I put on the car.
