Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I clearly understood the for $mini selection and only picked from that selection None the less when I put items in my cart they should have come out to $but the cart calculated a total of $plus any applicable tax/shipping and such(Also, in previous attempts it calculated different amounts for the same items every time The quoted $was just the most recent attempt I got quoted $64, $72, and other amounts before, which makes it even more bizarre, considering one would assume that website calculations would be consistent across the same purchases.) In the response you received from Kneipp it clearly states they recreated or attempted to recreate putting only items in their cart At items mine came out fine too (sometimes) Also, I am not looking anymore to repurchase, as I managed to find a similar deal somewhere else, but I would sincerely request an internal review of the last months orders as I have the feeling other customers were overcharged when they ordered from the for $minis deal Regards, [redacted] ***

Hi - Thank you for sending this complaint to our attentionWe believe the consumer may have been inaccurately using the site or misunderstanding the promotion that is being referencedWe were running a promotion on select travel sized/mini items (mini bath oil, mini bath salt, mini body wash and mini hand cream)All of the items included in this promotion were marked with a tag that said "Mix and Match: for $Minis"Only items included in this promotion were markedThe banners on the site referenced that this promotion applies to select items in the referenced categoriesI have attempted to copy and paste an actual customer order from 12/(the date the customer references attempting to apply the promotion) where you can see that the promotion was properly calculated during checkoutPlease send me your email and I can send the attachment to you if it is not visible hereIn this sample, you can see that the row total for each item starting with the words Mini comes out to $where if you purchase of these Minis, the total is $The discount amount is also reflected in the "Order Totals" section under the line "Discount (for $Minis)"This promotion ended on 12/but we would love to extend this promotional offer to the customer so they can still capture the for $savingsWe are offering to call the customer and walk her through placing an order or we can place the order over the phone for the customerPlease let me know next steps so we can resolve this and hopefully make the customer happyThanks

Hi Team - In response the this complaint we have issued the customer a full refund and are allowing the customer to keep her products due to any inconvenience experiencedWe reviewed this case thoroughlyIn order to take advantage of the BOGO gift set promotion, customers are required to select
their free gift during the checkout processThere is a pthat automatically displays where the customer is instructed to select the free itemOut of the hundreds of orders placed, there were approximately guests who missed this step and did not add the free item to their cartI point this out, simply to show that overall the process is workingThe customer also paid through *** which once you log in to the *** account and authorize the purchase, the payment automatically goes throughThis is outside of our control as we do not control the *** process and have simply provided it as a checkout option to give convenience to our customersWe are constantly dropping orders to our 3rd party warehouse and do not have the capability to stop shipment unless the order is caught within the minute processing windowDue to this order being placed after business hours, we were unable to stop the processing of the shipmentTo avoid inconveniencing the customer with having to follow our return process, which would require you to print a return label and take the shipment to ***, we offered the customer feedback on ways they could avoid these steps by rejecting the *** orderBy rejecting the order, it would be returned to the company without any further stress on the customerWe apologize to the customer for the inconvenienceSincerely, Kneipp

I am rejecting this response because:
I clearly understood the 5 for $10 mini selection and only picked from that selection.  None the less when I put 25 items in my cart they should have come out to $50 but the cart calculated  a total of $70 plus any applicable tax/shipping and such. (Also, in previous attempts it calculated different amounts for the same 25 items every time.  The quoted $70 was just the most recent attempt.  I got quoted $64, $72, and other amounts before, which makes it even more bizarre, considering one would assume that website calculations would be consistent across the same purchases.)  In the response you received from Kneipp it clearly states they recreated or attempted to recreate putting only 5 items in their cart.  At 5 items mine came out fine too (sometimes).   Also, I am not looking anymore to repurchase, as I managed to find a similar deal somewhere else, but I would sincerely request an internal review of the last 6 months orders as I have the feeling other customers were overcharged when they ordered from the 5 for $10 minis deal.

The discount amount is also reflected in the "Order Totals" section under the line "Discount (5 for $10 Minis)". This promotion ended on 12/11 but we would love to extend this promotional offer to the customer so they can still capture the 5 for $10 savings. We are offering to call the customer and walk her through placing an order or we can place the order over the phone for the customer. Please let me know next steps so we can resolve this and hopefully make the customer happy. Thanks
