After receiving a letter from O'Connor & Mikhov, I decided to reach out to them as months prior I had begun to wonder if my car was a lemon. Contacting this incredibly awesome, professional, service minded law firm turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made in life!
After hearing a long list of assorted problems I'd had with our VW Eos, I was told it was quite possible that I did indeed have a lemon vehicle. Their processes, teamwork, follow-up and knowledge based staff made it so easy for me as all I needed to do was send them copies of my abundant stack of service work orders; as well as the numerous new ones as recurring and/or new problems were encounter. All-in-all, there were 19 separate service issues ranging from repetitive leaking from the roof, three of the four seatbelts were defective, trunk would open while driving, five ECPs, and two engine issues of what could have resulted in serious consequences.
From that point on, the O'Connor & Mikhov team took my problem on as if it was their very own, and were 100% dedicated to getting me the best possible settlement. They were upfront in advising me that this could be a slow process with all the procedures, back and forth communication with the manufacturer, et al as required by legal protocol. At times, it seemed like it would never end, and my occasional doubt was met with empathy and reassurance - a perfect balance of being a caring shoulder to lean on and impeccably professional.
After about 14 months, I got the call I'd been on pins and needles to receive - "Yes, we have a settlement that we think you'll be happy with". Happy didn't describe it, every fiber of my body was relieved and ecstatic. VW had finally agreed to purchase my, err their lemon back for our contact price at time of purchase, plus a nice extra chunk of change.
Thanks to O'Connor & Mikhov, I now have peace of mind, a beautiful new car that drives like a dream, and extra money in the bank. I am so grateful for everything you were able to accomplish on our behalf all of which was done with great panache and professionalism.
