I have been to Knight Nissan more then 10 times so far for car repair on a Nissan [redacted] 2004. Listing each time:1. ordered a heat control part because mine broke2. I took my car there in the morning appointment was at 9 I believe. I phoned them at 430 and they forgot to fix it!! part came in and mechanic broke the part during install, they will order a new one. I left. 3. I return to Nissan again to get the heat working 4. new part comes in. I am told it's fixed, I leave and there is no heat in my car. 5. I have to return minutes later. Mechanic did not test it. I get the heat working for now. Mechanic tells me I need a different part, they order it.6. Part comes is and the mechanic breaks that one too.7. I leave no heat in my car and have to return, they get the heat working and tell me to bring it in again so a different mechanic can work on it. They say they will fix my car for free and wash it. 8. I take my car early in the morning appointment was 830 or 9. I called just before lunch to see if my car was done. They tell me it's been done for hours and it's sitting outside. They didn't call me to let me know!They tell me I need two parts and they will order them for me. 9. I return for them to get the heat working in my car AGAIN! -39 Celsius that day! Car was frozen solid.10.Two days later I get a call and they tell me that they can't order the parts and it will cost me over $600 for them to fix it.11. I go back to Nissan and they tell me that one of the parts is discontinued and they can't order it. It comes bundled with the $600 part.I called Nissan Canada to stated my issues. They were of no help and said there was nothing they could do.[redacted]. [redacted]. I really need this resolved. The part arrived and installation did not repair the problem. After receiving the customer complaint on [redacted] in January, the General Manager responded within a few hours. He called the customer and resolved the issue. The parts department has ordered the part required to repair the vehicle. Vehicle will be repaired complimentary. Upon receipt of the part, part will be inspected. Customer will then be contacted to make an appointment for repair. Service will be conducted on appointment made.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I will close the case when my car is fixed. [redacted]Final Business Response The service department has confirmed with the customer an appointment for Thursday, February 5, 2015 to complete the repairs at no charge to the customer. A loaner vehicle will be provided to the customer while the repairs are being completed. The customer indicated on February 2 that he is extremely happy with the steps we have taken to resolve this.
