Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Knight painting did not show up at time of estimate, I stead asked me to send pictures and descriptionLater said almost double the cost of layers of sheet rock on just of the walls to meet fire code which in my opinion, a general contractor should knowKPR stated that if they did not complete drywall work, the garage doors could not be put onThey did not actually give numerical figure of what the amount would beAt time of progress paymentCarla K [redacted] came minutes late with no invoice or change orderI gave progress payment knowing total paid thus far was less than original invoice and was under undue influence as was informed garage doors would not be reinstalled until dry wall repair was completedI was informed garage door subcontractor had credit card payment rejectLater Knight Resources Painting denied they had hired subcontractorsAlso could not justify amounts chargedCulminating in phone call which I percieved as threatening Sincerely, [redacted] ***

KRP was contracted by Ms*** to remove drywall on one wall in each of three garages in preparation for seizmic upgrades another contractor was contracted to performOnce the demo began, we realized the walls were double sheet rockThe contract with Ms*** was for removal of single wall
sheet rockKRP immediately informed Ms*** that we discovered twice the sheet rock to remove, which also would result in twice the labor, demo and material to haul awayThe contract also required of the removal garage doorsMs*** agreed to the new terms verbally and we met for an addition to the down paymentShe understood that this was now twice the work, labor, material and time to do the jobWhen we finished she asked questions regarding how we would spend the money she paid for services renderedWe found this very odd, but tried to list the business functions and how our company uses funds received.
Then, we also gave Ms*** a break on the doubled price as we were able to pass on the savings we encountered to herKRP took $off the bill to ease the burden of the unpredictable increase in work resulting in an increase in billing.
Ms*** has paid $toward her $billEven if her argument is to only pay the original estimate, she would still be in arears by $

KPR stated that if they did not complete drywall work, the garage doors could not be put on. They did not actually give numerical figure of what the amount would be. At time of progress payment. Carla K[redacted] came 50 minutes late with no invoice or change order. I gave progress payment knowing total paid thus far was less than original invoice and was under undue influence as was informed garage doors would not be reinstalled until dry wall repair was completed. I was informed garage door subcontractor had credit card payment reject. Later Knight Resources Painting denied they had hired subcontractors. Also could not justify amounts charged. Culminating in phone call which I percieved as threatening
