Everything in this hotel is pretty much doesn't work, manager is just nasty and ignorant. Everything broken! This hotel is soo horrible,shut It down!!
For three nights we've been here at the knights inn on us hwy 19 n Clearwater Florida. Paying 84$ a night for a room with no appliances that work, poor customer service. Just everything's a joke, cockroaches everywhere. Hotel needs to just be shut down period. Or inspected!!!! Dates would be 11/18-11/22.

Desired Outcome

compensate the time I've been here without a fridge and microwave that are the most important things in a hotel room that you are supposed to be paying for that includes a microwave and fridge. Or credit me for two nights. Something other than being nasty and having n attitude when I'm trying to be the most civil person, when I really don't need to be!

Customer would have had to book a room with a microwave and fridge, not all hotels have those automatically included. If the customer was unhappy with their stay, he or she had the opportunity to check out at anytime.

We have no record of this guest at all at the hotel.

I was there from 11/18-11/25. I checked out today building c room 136. Even was so ignorant took out security deposit n made us pay it again, n than today gave me 20$ back not the whole thing; which is not right, because there room shouldn't of even had anyone inside it. Nor should anyone be in there hotel period. With no working appliances.

Luggage carts didnt work properly.Hair on the sheets.AC unit outdated/broken.lobby smelled of marijuana from front desk & others around.Unprofessional

Im writing to you in regards to my recent hotel stay at the knights inn allentown, airport road location in PA. I had checked in on Friday November 15th around 730pm. Upon check in, the woman at the desk was extremely unprofessional. Lots of people around her talking, she had her cell phone on speaker and was speaking to what seemed like a relative. I am currently going through a divorce and needed some time away. It was me and my 5 month old daughter staying. Upon check in, the carts to roll in luggage were completely outdated and I could not hold the doors open, hold my 5 month old and push the carts as they did not roll properly. I checked into my room, after carrying my daughter and luggage, made by at least 3 trips and noticed hair on the sheets. I then went to turn on the heat, the unit was extremely old, and half broken. I noticed my cell phone was about to die, and so I tried to make an outgoing call on the hotel phone, that did not work. I was in the room all but 20 minutes total. I went to my car to grab my phone charger and realized I locked myself out. Mind you, On my way to my car, the ENTIRE lobby was full of people, "friends" of the current front desk employee im going to assume because they were surrounded by her and they were the same people from check in. Besides that, the ENTIRE lobby reeked of marijuana. NOT what I intended for what ive paid and for having my 5 month old daughter there! I was out at my car for some time, my mother picked me up and took me to a local store to buy a new charger so I can contact family if needed. when we returned to the hotel, a tow truck was in the parking lot to repo another vehicle, they unlocked my doors for me. I then went to the woman at the desk, explained my concerns and she refused any kind of refund. She was extremely rude and so were the others there. I was technically checked into the hotel for less then 2 hours, but was in the room for only about 20. Worst hotel experience by far. I am asking a full refund, $71.50

I am asking for a full refund, i was in the room for only about 20 minutes. I addressed my concerns to the woman at the front desk. She refused any refund and stated she did not have the authority. Then a few minutes later into the conversation stated she was the manager after i requested to speak to him/her.

I went to get the 20 dollar deposit back at checkout and they refused to return my money.
Me and my girlfriend checked into the knights inn located at 1211 s westnedge ave kalamazoo,mi XXXXX on 9/11/2019. The room was in my girlfriend's name and she was with me upon check in. They told us that there was a 20 dollar deposit and that upon checkout we could get the 20 dollars returned to us. We only checked in to this hotel due to my girlfriend's sister needing a potential life ending surgery. My girlfriend gave permission and told the 2 employees that checked us in that I could receive the money upon checkout. So at checkout 9/12/2019 they told me that I couldn't get the 20 dollars returned to me because the room wasn't in my name. So upon reminding the employee that they received consent to release the 20 dollarsto me they told me that I had to bring her all the way back to the hotel. Furthermore they did not provide a receipt for purchasing the room.

Wrong hotel

This hotel that is advertised as smoke-free but smells like an ashtray. We asked for a refund and the manager refused to issue one.
We arrived at the Knights Inn on Saturday March 16th 2019 to check-in. Upon arrival, the guy at the front desk, Nikhil charged my credit card the full amount of our stay $1,471.14 and gave us room keys.

We then proceeded to go to our rooms that were supposed to be smoke free and clean.

The room was not smoke free as advertised, it smelled like cigarettes and weed. There were cigarette burn holes in the sheets and blankets. Stains on the sheets and walls. Broken outlets, holes in the walls and baseboards, lights not working with broken switches. Signs of bugs and mold. The balcony door was unlocked and left open when I entered the room. There appeared to be drug deals and prostitution going on around the premise and it is next door to a strip club. It was the most deplorable conditions I've ever experienced at a hotel despite checking the reviews that were mixed and misleading. So, we immediately turned around and went back to the lobby and asked for a full refund and said we weren't staying there. The guy at the front desk Nikhil, said the manager Mr. Patel wasn't going to be around until Monday and the best he could do was refund us 5 out of the 7 nights. So we paid $1,471.14 and he only refunded $1,064 leaving $407.14 still charged on my card even though we weren't there for an hour let alone a night. We are being charged for refusing to stay at a disgusting *** hole that smelled of smoke and weed.
The guy said I would need to contact Booking.com and have them request refund for the balance from the manager at Knights Inn. Which I did immediately and the Booking.com rep Antina, said I should receive a full refund and they would contact the Hotel manager and ask that he refund me the balance for misrepresenting his hotel and advertising it as smoke free when it was clearly not. Unfortunately after several attempts Booking.com said that the manager refused to issue a full refund stating the cancellation policy even though I was not made aware of their policy terms at the time of purchase. I understand hotels have policies to protect against cancellations however this was not a cancellation. This was false advertising on their part saying their hotel was smoke free and the rooms smelled like an ashtray. The conditions were unsafe and unsanitary. They charged me for 2 rooms for 2 nights that we never even stayed in. The hotel manager is a scam artist and knows exactly what kind of hotel he is running and told me to go ahead and call the Revdex.com & Health department. He is gambling on me letting this go and just accepting the charge but this is a charge I absolutely refuse to pay. I'm disputing the charges with my card company and I wanted to share my complaint. I appreciate any assistance you can provide to help in this matter.

I would like a refund of the balance remaining on my credit card of $407.14 that they charged me even though we did not stay there more than an hour let alone 1 night. Their hotel was a disgusting, bug infested, fleabag and not smoke-free as advertised and as their sign in the lobby says.

Dirty room. Broken appliances. Broken chair. Cigarette burns in bed. Shower not cleaned prior. NO PEEP HOLE ON DOOR, CAN SEE IN FROM OUTSIDE! RUDE.
From the start of the check in, I was already bothered by the $50 cash deposit necessary to get the room, not included in the cost of the hotel, nor able to be able to put on a card.
To begin, the shower was not cleaned thoroughly, with dirt/ hair in drain. The roller chair was inoperable from missing a roller. The microwave would not work because some sort of a shortage in the outlet. The comforter had a few cigarette burns in it. The door to get into the building had a key card access, but the door would open without it. Security concern being active duty AF. Another security concern being the largest is that after staying a few hours, I noticed there was no peep hole cover on the outside. One would be able to look right in from the outside straight into the room. You had full view of everything into the room to include the TV, balcony, and bed. I felt extremely uncomfortable and attempted to contact the property via phone but they never answer ever. I went into the front office and the attendent said he could not move me to another room, nor could he give me a refund. He was very rude and inconsiderate. He said hold on and walked away, where he called his manager where he handed me the phone to talk to him. The manager swore, and told me to leave the office. He said the police were on the way to location, and I can talk to them. I did speak to them, and explained the situation. They let me know that the location has been under watch, and has had many complaints and issues. Drugs, prostitution, trafficking are just a small glimpse into this business. As the police arrived, the attendant called me over and issued my deposit. I asked for a complete refund which they declined again. I took pictures, and contacted the booking company with the issues.

A full refund. A investigation into this business. I personally would close the business and change the management. I would check where the money is funneling, because I bet it is illegal activity.

This is not sufficient. The "business" had a peep hole to watch the room. They would not give a solution to this issue. They gave me a hard time theough this process and causing me more time and money to find a hotel during spring break at 11 PM.

The manager refused to authorize Expedia to refund two rooms I purchased and cancelled an hour later. The manager was very rude to me and insulting.
The manager would not refund an Expedia order I had for two nights that I cancelled an hour after purchasing. He refused to authorize the refund through Expedia. I ordered the room for a friend and they requied a $50 cash deposit my friend did not have and I do not live in the state. The manager was also very rude and insulting toward me in a non professional manner.

The customer bookes through a third party, the third party charged the customers card for payment. They must get a refund from the company which charged their card. We cannot refund customer at all since they did not pay us directly

I reserved a non smoking room, for daughter's allergies, but was given a room that had been smoked in. The hotel refuses to refund me.
On March 30, I reserved a non smoking room through Travelocity. The photos on the website showed a nice clean and well kept hotel. This couldn't be farther from the truth. False advertising on both parts. This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen! My daughter has severe allergies so a non smoking room is a must. The room we were given smelled strongly of smoke. Even the bed linens stunk. There were cigarette burn all over the furniture and throughout the bedding and mattresses. There was nothing way my daughter could've stayed in that room. So I cancelled my reservation since there were no other rooms left. They were booked solid and had a "no rooms available " sign on the window. I told the clerk that this was a health concern for my daughter and that I wanted a refund. She told me that I'd have to call Travelocity for the refund. Travelocity has to communicate with Knights Inn to get their approval to issue refund. Knights Inn refused to issue a refund even after I submitted photos and video of the cigarette burns throughput that room. They still insist that I had a non smoking room. It's obvious that the room had been smoked in. There's no denying that! They didn't even bother to change the burned bedding in this so called "non smoking" room. These people are crooked and are ripping people off! They are falsely advertising their property. It looks nothing like the photos on their own site, much less on Travelocity's site. All I'm asking for is a refund since this was not as advertised and was a health concern for my daughter. I have photos and video of my claims and will be happy to share them!

I want a full refund! This was a health concern. And I was lied to. I did not get what was advertised. This was not what I paid for! I've tried calling several times, but no one ever answers. I've communicated with Travelocity and they have communicated with Knights Inn on my behalf.

You booked your room through a third party company and paid them for the room. We did not charge the custoemrs credit card for the stay. The customer must go through the third party company for any compensation.

Knights Inn has to "approve" the refund request with Travelocity. Knights Inn has repeatedly denied my refund request when Travelocity has communicated with them. Travelocity will not issue the refund until Knights Inn gives the okay. Knights Inn is doing everything they can to avoid giving a refund.

I flew in from Pa. to Tampa on 02/13/2018. Reason for my trip was the unthinkable task of seeing my Granddaughter burial. Made reservations for 2 nights at the Knights Inn Clearwater. When we ( my other Granddaughter) arrived and was shown our rooms I could not believe how FILTHY they were. The bed skirt was torn and parts of it just hanging. It was covered in MOLD. There was also other 'substances? on the bed skirt. The floor was really dirty. I told the front desk I could not sleep in that bed. I was shown 3 other rooms, each just as FILTHY. In one there was some milkey looking substance all over the dresser. The floors in the hallway had not seen a sweeper in years. I told the front desk we could not stay in this room and told him it was because of the filthy conditions. We did NOT stay at the Knights Inn. I repeat we did NOT stay at the Knights Inn. We called another hotel and stayed there the night of the 13th and 14th. We were refunded 1 nights fee. I said we are NOT staying here. He said come back in the morning when the manager is here. We could not come back the next morning we are going to funeral services. I asked him to call the manager. He did , they talked and hung up. He said the manager said we were NOT getting a refund. I asked him to call back so I could talk to him. I said we wanted a refund as we did NOT stay there. He told me NO WAY WERE WE GETTING A REFUND. I asked him his name and this was his reply,? GET THE *** OFF MY PROPERTY? Those were his exact words to me. Later when I talked to a few

Other (requires explanation) I wish to have the Manager displined or removed from his job and to have him understand human kindness. And if possible a refund. But at this point it is the principal of this matter and the way in which we were treated. The whole experience was UNBELIEVABLE.

Case was opened as per Revdex.com on 2-16-2018 the room has been rented many times over since then without incident. Please have customer provide all places she was 1-14 days prior to arrival to the hotel, and have those places inspected for any incest activity. It is impossible to tell where the bites may have come from with out an entemologist or other expert weighing in

The information provided by the business in my complaint is NOT accurate. I was asked to provide all places I have stayed from the 1st - 14th of Feb. I was in my own home in Pennsylvania. As I stated I flew from Pa. to Tampa on the 13 th. of Feb. for my Granddaughters funeral. My home is immaculately CLEAN and does not neeed to be inspected, nor did I imply in my complaint about any insect bites I received. I merely said it was FILTHY. Other customers may have complained of insect bites, but I did not. My complaint was that the hotel was filthy and the manager was extremely rude and would not refund my card for the 13 th. I have stated I did NOT STAY at Knights Inn on the 13 th. I have proof I stayed at a different hotel. I did NOT or would NOT stay at that hotel

Customer was only charged for one night of their stay.
Customer demanded I leave my house over an hour away to come talk to them in the evening time. I advised guest I would not be in until the morning. When the customer became rude and verbally abusive to my staff the guest was told to leave the property. If a customer can learn respect towards others than respect will be reciprocated.

I do NOT accept this business proposed resolution because it contains BLANTANT LIES. I did NOT demand he leave his home. I NEVER asked him to come to the hotel. My ONLY request was that he refund the $77 I was charged for one nights stay. I did NOT stay one night. I did not stay at his hotel ANY night. I have stated repeatedly I did NOT stay at his hotel. I have receipt from the hotel I did stay at, on February 13 &14. I will fax if necessary. I also said I could NOT return in the morning as I was attending my GRANDDAUGHTER,S FUNERAL SERVICES, thus the reason for my being in Tampa. And his exact words to me were,"GET THE *** OFF MY PROPERTY." I have worked in the service, retail industry most of my life. I would NEVER have treated a CUSTOMER as I was treated by a business. BOTTOM LINE: I did NOT stay at his hotel, reason being the rooms and the whole hotel was FILTHY.
