Knights Inn Old Saybrook

Review: My husband my 1 year old daughter and myself rented a room at the knights inn in old saybrook, we started getting bites all over our body and I went to the clinic where they informed us it was bed bugs the owner of the motel switched our room 2 times finally we decided to go to a different motel because of how sever the welts from the bites were and because we kept getting more and more as the days went by. I went to the office Saturday and asked for my money back as we had nothing but bites on me and my child. the women was very rude called me dirty told me they did not come from there she has no bed bugs this is also the women that made us stand outside in the cold for a half hour because the pipe burst in the place and she had no open room she wanted me to go back into the room where the pipe burst. it was only after my husband demanded a different room because my daughter is serverly allergic to mold did she move us again to another room. I have contacted town hall in Old Saybrook as well as the health department. I have also contacted there corporate office and the women said she would call me back I have called 3 time as still no return phone call.Desired Settlement: Something be done about this place, we were not the only ones bit up staying here and they took no responsibility and we were not informed of the bed bug issue before we moved in. I had left early and lost my 310 dollars that we paid on top of having to pay another 40 to clean everything before we could bring it with us to our new room. Not including the medication and the emergency room visit we had to go though due to this place.

Review: I had reserved a room at this hotel the website had a picture of a hot tub and when I checked in it wasn't the one in the picture it was just a bath tub with jets .They also overcharged me for the room the orginal price was supposed to be 110.88 plus a discount of 20 percent. They charged me 113.85 with a discount of 22.77.I paid for a hot tub that was in not usable and they said they had continental breakfast which had none I spoke to their corporate office and said they would get back to me and they never did. I am asking for a refund of 91.08.and they should make good on their room with the promised room with a hot tub at a different location for free of charge due to inconviences.
