Review: My father was insured with The Knights of Columbus with two life insurance policies. I became his legal guardian, fidicuary, and conservator as my father was diagnosed with stage 4 Dimentia. Also, I am the beneficiary on the two life insurance policies. My father passed away in October of 2013. I need to pay the Nursing Home, the Funeral Home, and several medical bills he incurred during his sickness, and stay in the Nursing Home. The Knights of Columbus ordered me to obtain a court order stating that I was to be paid for these policies. This is not required in [redacted], but I followed what they asked and I have obtained a court order under legal council by Robert Coots Law Firm. The Knights of Columbus have had this court order in their hand for almost a month, and have not released the funds. They are not returning my attorney's calls, or my own.The Nursing Home, the Funeral Home, and the Medical facilities have now turned me over to collections agencies, and this has ruined my credit that I have worked very hard on for over 10 years. The Knights of Columbus have no legal right to withold these funds from me to pay my father's final care and resting expenses, as well as my brother's and I would like to purchase a headstone for his final resting place.Desired Settlement: I would like this matter to be taken up the the [redacted] Insurance Commisioner, and with the Home office of The Knights of Columbus. There address and contact information are:The Knights of Columbus[redacted]My Attorney can be contacted below:[redacted].

Review: Since 2011, I've been asking this organization to stop sending the mailings of my ex-husband, [redacted], to my home. I've done so through face-to-face interaction with an agent, E-mails and request for contact via their website. It is now almost 2014 yet the mailings continue to come to my home. I'm at a loss for words and don't know what else to do ...such an easy, simple request that is taking years to fulfill.Desired Settlement: STOP SENDING KNIGHTS OF COLUMBIA MAILINGS TO MY HOME! PLEASE STOP!!
