Knights of Columbus

I booked this hall for a graduation party on June 15, 2013. I put down a deposit of $100 on April 21, 2013. I did not receive a receipt for this deposit, was told I would get one via email. Never received email. On June 14, 2013 I went to get key and contract for the party. I did not receive any contract was asked how many people would be attending stated 75-100, tables were set for that amount. On the day of the party the remaining balance of $125 was given to the bartender. During the party a gentlemen came up to me stating we need to make a deal in regards to the bar and amount of adults. Agreement was made to pay half of the $50. At 10 minutes to 6, the bartender came to me and my sister and stated that we needed to clean up because I only had the hall till 6. I never received a contract nor was I told the amount of time I had the hall. I immediately contacted [redacted] as I was upset, was told that we had the hall for 5 hours again no contract was given nor was a time frame given.Desired SettlementHe stated that they would meet and I would be refunded some amount of money. I am still waiting for my refund and have not heard back.I believe I should have received at least the amount for the last hour that we did not get to stay.
