Knockout Collision Repair Reviews (1)
Review: Took my vehicle for repair from rear end collision on 02/25/2014. Original estimated completion date of 4 days but I knew it would take longer due to the fact I have been rear ended before. Completion date revised to Friday March 28th, a little long but acceptable as rental car was covered for 30 days by insurance. Then the 28th came and no car. That's when the excuses started and I kept hearing it would be Friday, then the next Friday, etc. Car was not ready until April 18th. When I got there to pick it up, I was told they just found more damage and ordered parts but would have to bring car back for at least another day. Total time they had the vehicle, 54 days. Me, left with $710 dollar rental car bill. I have tried numerous times to get the shop to compensate me but they keep ignoring me. My insurance company has tried as well. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any business and the only one to have ever made me angry enough to file a formal complaint. No communication with their customers and horribly managed. I will never recommend or use this business again. Avoid it at all costs.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for rental car expense for failure to deliver vehicle by promised completion date of March 28th,2014
I received this complaint yesterday and I have been in contact with this customer to work out the difficulties that he experienced while his vehicle was being repaired. The delays experienced during this repair were very much out of the ordinary. The delays were caused by our shop and the insurance company. I, as the owner of the business am handling this matter personally.
I am rejecting this response because of the fact that due to my schedule, I have not been able to speak with the business owner and have not come to a resolution yet.:
