I have explained to Ms,*** that I am the new owner of Know Yoga Know Peace since July I have also explained to Ms.*** that yoga class cards expire one year from purchaseThis is not a change in business practice as she claims, and to the best of my knowledge the previous owner had
the same policy. She purchased a class card years ago in December from the previous owner. I do not personally know, have never met, spoken with, or seen Ms*** at the studioHer communication with the studio has been strictly through email, and she claims she had a verbal agreement with the previous owner that her class card would never expireI have no documents that states any such agreement between her and the previous owner, nor does Ms.***So what I'm left with is someone I've never met telling me I owe her somethingStandard business practice is class cards expire one year from purchase, and I have to stick to thatI understand she is frustrated but her complaint is with the former owner. I had a horrible experience with this firmCommunication between Camy and her paralegals is sparse leaving you to have to pay more money to relay correct information to each individual you speak withAfter being treated rudely by paralegal and after 2nd attempt to rewrite a petition that still had incorrect information in it ( the rewrites costed me more money for her to correct her mistakes ) I ordered them to stop all work to save myself anymore frustration, money, and embarrassment in courtUnfortunately I unknowingly signed a Non-Refundable retainer and after legal fees for less than $in days of being retained, the firm refused to refund any money back to me out of my $retainerIn my complaint to the Florida Bar Association Camy claimed that my $consult was freeIt was not free I sent proof of payment to the Florida Barthe worse part is that I personally know Camy and she refused to call me back after I learned about the Non Refundable retainer
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the original response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the emailed response would not resolve my complaint.
However ~ After seeing the responce, I went into the store and was able to speak with the new owner in person finally. I had never been able to do this in the past, as I only was able to catch other sales associates when I was in the studio previously to talk about the issue & had only been able to converse with the owner via email. The owner agreed to extend the remaining 8 passes that I had for one more year ~ as I had purchased them from the previous owner before the one year policy was instituted. I agreed to take the compromise of extening the passes for one year (even though they originally had no expiration date) ~ since I will be in town all summer at least and will be able to use them within this time frame.
