After poor return on our investment, we decided to move our kids RESP's to another company. KFF is not cooperating and still takes our money monthly.
Knowledge first financial has given us extremely poor return on our kids RESP investments for the past 10 years. Six months ago we decided to leave KFF and move the money over to *** with many fees from KFF as a result. Since then they have refused *** requests to close the account so the money can be transferred. They have also continued to take the $200 out of our account every month since we have filed the completed paperwork. Today I had to go to my bank to pay for them to stop any further payments to KFF from continuing. I have received many calls and emails from knowledge first financial wanting to 'talk', and have also received paperwork from them trying to trick me into restarting the account. When I spoke to someone from their company telling them that I would be taking our business elsewhere, the man I spoke to got very angry with me.
At this point I just want to get my kids RESPs out of knowledge first financial and successfully transferred over to ***.
