Knowledge First Institute

Review: I graduated from Knowledge first Institute as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) on the 3/4/2013 and returned there to go get my certificate on 3/8/2013.When I got there, I met **. [redacted] who happens to be the director and I asked him for my Certificate and he said you cant get your certificate without a background check and a CPR card. This wasnt even made known to me when I registered nor when I took the final exams. I then asked him if I could go do the background check and just go ahead and pay for the CPR card since I took the class already and all he had to do was issue me a card. He agreed I should make a payment of $75 against the CPR card, and I made him understand I was going to do the background check and I will be back for my Certificate and my CPR card. When I came back the same day for my Certificate, the secretary said, We cant give you your certificate because you dont have a CPR card yet. I told her I just paid for the card a couple of hours ago but wasnt told I wont be getting it. All this was in a hurry because I had a job offer for Thursday 3/14/2013 so I had to show my documents. I then left the school angry. I went back to the school on Monday 3/11/2013 and the card wasnt still there, and I then called on Tuesday 3/12/2013 to check if the card was available but the secretary said not yet. I then asked her gain if she knows what time the cards are going to be in. she said, not anytime soon I proceeded, can I go do it somewhere else then come get my certificate and my refund because, I have a job offer on Thursday 3/14/2013? She said, That is fine, you can do that and get your refund. I went back to the School on Friday 3/15/2013 and met **. [redacted] for my refund and he said, The money cant be refunded. He claimed he has printed the CPR cards already with my name on it and no one else could use it. I then showed him the one I made already and I called the school and the secretary told me to go ahead and have it done somewhere else. He ignored me and insisted on not giving me the refund. I then asked him for the printed card, he just left saying nothing to me. I waited there for about one hour with him going around in circles and not saying anything to me nor even telling me what to do next. I will say he just ignored my presence so I left. Till date, he hasnt given my refund neither has he given me the CPR card. I dont want the CPR card from him because I have one already. All I need is my refund of $75Desired Settlement: I just want him refund my money
