We contracted to have roofing work done and gave MrDerrick K [redacted] a $14,in deposit on May 30, Since that time, MrK [redacted] has not shown up to begin work as promised and has been unresponsive to phone and text messagingHe has cashed the checks but has not ordered any roofing material
I went and looked at the job three timesWe tried to help him as much as possible .I told him I would give him a estimateI never gave him a contract.there wasn't anything we agreed on at allHe wanted me to give him a letter to help him on his property because he had a chimney falling over.I told him I could nog do so.that is all
while Knox remodeling seems to talk a big talk the quality and workmanship of the project was subpar from a leaking window to peeling boards the work has not even lasted one year after multiple attempts to contact Derick Knox, we had to move into legal proceedings I would highly discourage the use of Knox Remodeling
Derick * K*** is a great salesmanHe convinced us he could help us out and acted like he would bend over backwards for us because he liked to help good peopleHa! He cost us tens of thousands in dollars in damages from having literally no clue what he was doingHe damaged all the expensive product we purchased because he didn't install them correctlyI filed a complaint with the attorney generalThis person should not do work on anyone's house, in my opinionI hope that karma gives him what he deservesThis is not a reputable company and anyone considering hiring him should run the other directionHe talks like a nice guy but you will regret hiring him if you're foolish enough to do so I wouldn't recommend this guy to my worst enemyHe burned us bad, real bad!!!

Review: [redacted] has promised several times to do a job for me (repoint two chimneys at [redacted]). A date was set (6/7) and email exchanged stating he would be there to do the job. On the evening of 6/7 I called [redacted] to confirm the work was done. He answers the phone and then claims he can't hear me. When I try and call back he doesn't answer his phone. I did a drive by and found that the work was in fact NOT done! I tried again on Sunday evening. He answers his phone and then claims he can't hear me. I try calling back and he doesn't answer his phone. I first contacted [redacted] on May 9th about doing this job. Several times he stated he would get the job done and that I could count on him. His customer satisfaction ethics leave much to be desired! If he didn't want to do the job, he should have just stated so from the beginning. On a similar note, I had another job for [redacted] to do. Promises were made to do the work. The person [redacted] had to do the job, didn't show up as promised. I had to call to find out what was going on. [redacted] did finally call to tell me the person who was going to do the work was a constant complainer and didn't have his own transportation. At this point, I was becoming apprehensive about[redacted] ability to follow through. He once again assured me that he was still going to do the job as stated above.Desired Settlement: I need this job done! The date of 6/7 was perfect timing. Now I'm in a crunch to get this job done as it can not be put off any longer! I think [redacted] should follow up on his word!
