I need to file a formal complaint about Summit Truck Group located at ***
Our Company had spoken with the salesman named ***, multiple times starting since before Christmas *** assured us the box truck we were going to purchase was in tiptop shape, the lift gate worked, everything was great! We asked him to double check everything as we were going to be traveling from Silver City, NM all the way to their location in Wichita, Kansas
Upon our arrival, we discovered the vehicle was NOT what they had advertised, the lift gate did NOT work, it was rough all the way around, rear end hub seal was leaking badly, the rear end was in such poor shape I don't feel it would've made the drive back to Silver City, NM It rode horribly rough, the transmission was rough, the cab was rough, the radio was bypassed with a toggle switch, no volume control, something smelled as though it was burning when it was running, perhaps a leaking seal or valve cover gasket, headlight knob missing, battery was dead, once that was fixed it didn't hardly want to start, NONE of this was disclosed to us prior to our 13+hr drive (One way) I feel as a small business owner myself if this is how they treat CASH paying customers, how do they treat everybody else This box truck was suppose to be a WORK vehicle for our employees! Instead I then traveled to Amarillo Texas and was treated very fair, all information given about their vehicle was 100% correct Sadly I will never refer anyone to this company, ever! I will also file complaints elsewhere
