Dear *** ***,I personally spoke with *** *** when she was at our facilityShe arrived with a concern that there was a noise in her engine and that she had the vehicle at a *** store earlier that dayThe gentleman at the *** facility told *** *** that she needed an engineWe inspected
the vehicle and could not verify any issue with the vehicleThe only noise that we heard was the fuel injector "tick" noise that is a characteristic of this vehicleWe took her into the shop to show her what we heard and explained that as of now we could not condemn the engine for any issueThe vehicle was running and driving properly with no malfunction lights or issuesI did speak to the service department at the *** store and was told that it took them two hours before hearing the noiseI explained that there is a warranty on the vehicle and if there was a verifiable condition we would be happy to contact the Warranty Company and start a claim*** *** insisted we replace her engine based on another shops diagnosisI again explained that if the vehicle did have a failure that we would be happy to repair itAt the end of our conversation, *** *** state that we didn't want to help her or repair her vehicleThis is not the caseWe would never turn down income paid by warranty or a customer, this is our business*** *** states in her letter that she contacted the warranty company and was told *** can break down the engine to start a claimIf *** determines an issue, the warranty will take care of thatIf *** cannot provide proof of a failure, the customer would be responsible for the breakdown of the engineI would not put the customer financially at risk for a concern that I could not verify as a problem. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.Sincerely,Jeremy MFixed Operations Director

Once again Jeremy M*** is a liarThe only truth to his story is me being upset; which I have every right to be especially since I only had the *** *** for a weekRandy (the mechanic) should have asked me for permission to do a tear down but did not.If Jeremy was so concerned about the issue he would have instructed Randy (the mechanic) to get permission to do a tear down but of course that didn't happen because Jeremy told me they were not going to help me unless the *** *** broke down completelyHow do you assume a claim was filed and the *** *** is fixedClearly that really shows what type of person Jeremy M*** really isI have to pay $up front before I can start the process and put in a claim and hope that it will be coveredAs you can see Kochstill has not even once made an attempt to reimburse me the $I had to pay to *** *** *** so do you really think in good faith Jeremy M*** wants to fix my car. I have already submitted paperwork to the Revdex.com from *** *** *** showing the issue (piston slap/connecting rod issue- needs engine) and I also showed the same paperwork to Randy (the mechanic) and Jeremy M*** before and after they claim there was no problem with the *** *** and would not help meI also submitted paperwork to the Revdex.com from Kochstating no issue with the *** ***Why would I even trust and want to take my *** *** back to Kochwhen Randy (the mechanic) and Jeremy made it very clear that they would not help me unless the *** *** broke down completelyWhy on earth would I trust KochnowIf I would not have filed a complaint do you really think Jeremy M*** would say he'd help me nowMind you if Jeremy M*** is so willing to help me why on earth has he or anyone from Kochnot contacted me to do so sine I filed this complaintKochhas no intention on helping meThe only dealer that has been honest with me and I trust is *** *** ***

10/28/2016Dear [redacted] ,Customer is looking for incurred expenses and refunds as a result of “careless service performed by our staff. We are actively trying to rectify the issue. Our phone records do show the contact from the customer to us as well as one outbound attempt from us. However,...

it does appear that someone in our organization dropped the ball and never followed through to resolve. As of the time I am writing this response, my Manager Kaitlin had left a message to speak with the customer to come up with a resolution. There were 2 messages left at 10:18 am And again at 10:22 aan on 10/27/2016, one at ###-###-#### and the other at ###-###-####. We have not had a callback as of today, 10/28/2016 at 12:37 pm. I agree that we should absolutely refund the customer whatever expense she incurred to have her vehicle repaired. I also am ok with reimbursing her for the oil change that caused the issue in the first place. I will need any and all receipts for my accounting office so that I can expedite the reimbursement. As far as a reimbursement for the visor that is not functioning properly, there is a part and labor warranty associated with that part and we would be more than happy to repair or replace as necessary.I will continue to reach out and try and get a copy of the customers' receipt's from having her issue repaired elsewhere and reimburse her accordingly, I can be reached at the number and email address below, feel free to contact me at  anytime with any questions or concerns,Sincerely,Jeremy M

April 4, 2017Dear [redacted],I understand that when [redacted] was in to have her concern checked that she was upset due to an issue with her car. I tried explaining, as stated in my previous response, that to file a claim with the Warranty Company, I needed verification of a problem. Since my staff was unable to verify any issue at that time, no claim could be filed. She was visibly upset and kept insisting "[redacted] said it needs an engine". cannot submit a claim based on someone else's word, there is a process we must follow. I explained that if the noise returns to a point that we can confirm where it is was coming from we would proceed with filing a claim.Fortunately, it sounds as if the other dealer preformed a tear down of the vehicle and filed a claim on her behalf. At this point my assumption is that her vehicle was repaired and is functioning properly. If this is not the case we would be more than happy to look at it again for her.Sincerely,Jeremy M.Fixed Operations Director

I would like to include that while waiting for full refund of the warranty and sales tax, my lienholder is currently charging me interest on the $3443.94 - extended warranty and the $194.94 - sales tax. How will those additional charges be handled while I await the full refund of warranty and...
