I have gone back to the consumers home and resolved the issuesThank you

I have included photos to visually prove my work is level. In the homeowner contracted me to add stairs to an existing deckSince then there has been dramatic settling on the existing deck ( photo ) which I did not buildThe deck is pulling down on the stairsThe deck was not built by a licensed contractor nor was it built to codeAs a professional courtesy, I went back in June of after she filed a complaint for a problem that her ex husband created by building the deck, to install a footing to correct the sagging on a deck that I didn't even buildThis problem will continue and get worseAnd this problem is not with the stairsThe stairs are level as evidenced by the photo

I was contracted by Ms*** for a variety of projects in and outside her homeEven though she informed me up front that she had several issues with prior contractors, I accepted the jobMy contract is set up in three, one third installments for paymentsOver the course of the months I worked at
her home, she added several projects, all of which I agreed to complete, at an additional costHowever, once the project was nearing completion, we sat and she very aggressively told me that she would not pay for some of themAs a courtesy to her, even though I had completed several of the items she wouldn't pay for, I took that as a lossAdditionally, she was adamant about the flooring in her sons closet and wavered back and forth several times about the extent of the flooring ( based on room and closet dimensions ). Eventually, after several accusations on her part that I was pressuring her son to make a decision, she told me to not touch the floor - and it was left un-finished ( one of the deductions ). It was at this point, I chose to not have any face to face conversations with Ms*** without a witness present, as she changed her tone, mood, and mind, literally every time I was at the house. It was only after she paid me in full that I heard of these complaints, at which time, I attempted to speak to her directly on the phone, but when she called me a crook, I chose to only communicate with her in writing going forwardAfter sending her a letter (certified, signature required)asking what her concerns were, she filed this complaint instead of allowing me the opportunity to re-visit her home to discuss those concerns, as required by any contractorAs you can see from the phone log below, I went above and beyond trying to call her back throughout September and until after the project was complete on October 1stAdditionally, even though the work was completed on the Saturday, she advised me that she couldn't pay me the final third because of a Jewish holidayShe paid me in full on Tuesday the 4thShe gave the final payment check to my subcontractor without incident or discussion or concern and at that point, I considered this project final

[Mr. [redacted] just left my home.  The job is not done correctly.  He spent an hour at the job and the situation is not resolved.  The stairs are still slanting downward and nails are still protruding up from...

the stair treads.  At this point I would just like my money back ($1179) and I will find someone to do the job correctly.

I have gone back to the consumers home and resolved the issues. Thank you

I have included photos to visually prove my work is level. In 2013 the homeowner contracted me to add stairs to an existing deck. Since then there has been dramatic settling on the existing deck ( photo ) which I did not build. The deck is pulling down on the stairs. The deck was not built by a licensed contractor nor was it built to code. As a professional courtesy, I went back in June of 2015 after she filed a complaint for a problem that her ex husband created by building the deck, to install a footing to correct the sagging on a deck that I didn't even build. This problem will continue and get worse. And this problem is not with the stairs. The stairs are level as evidenced by the photo.
