I am writing this reply on the complaint of Del's Auto Repair on May 8, 2015. Many of the facts that were stated in the complaint were in fact not true. Yes we did front end work on the vehicle, the date that we completed the initial repairs was January 12, 2015. After
completing the repairs we did not hear anything from the owner about any problems till May 4, 2015, when the customer before even mentioning anything to us about the car, proceeded to put a very fabricated and threatening comment on our face book page. When the customer called in the next day and said and I quote" I ran into a parking block and when I backed up to get off of it, it ripped the bumper off". I then told her that she needed to bring the car back in so we can take a look at it. She then brought the car in, we put it back on to the lift so we could take a look at it, at that point the bumper was zip tied on from the parking block incident the day before. We looked at all the components that hold the bumper to the car and could tell that the plastic clips and screws were properly in place and that the amount of stress from the parking block had either ripped them out or snapped them off. There were visible stress marks all the way around the car and huge scuff marks under the bumper that showed where she ran over the parking block. We (Del's auto) were planning on fixing it for her for just the price of the products needed. When Todd ( the owner ) questioned her about the comment that was posted on our face book page, she got all defensive and demanded her car down right away. Bottom line the repairs we did on the car were done right the first time, because if they were not the bumper would have never made it through snow and ice without having issues for nearly months and it would have taken a lot less that a parking block to remove it. Pictures, invoices and surveillance video can be provide upon request. Sincerely, *** ***andThe Del's Auto Staff

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[To read the response from the owner of the company and hear him blame a bad facebook review from a totally different customer is quite disappointing from a local business owner. If you ask him the name of the person who left the facebook post you will see that it was not my name *** *** *** He should take up the post with that customer and worry about getting the work completed correctly on my car since I paid almost $3000. He also says that there were zip ties on the vehicle and that would be correct because that's what his company placed on the carThey must have lost the bolts that went there as you will see in the pictures attached that there are missing bolts in other places as well. And I never said to him that "I ran into a parking block" what I said was "I parked to pick up my son from daycare and when I pulled out the bumper fell off. You will also see in the pictures attached that there is NO damage on the bumper and it would be very damaged had I "ran into a parking block and ripped my bumper off" as he says I did. He follows his claim with "we could tell the plastic clips and screws were properly in place and that the amount of stress from the parking block had either ripped them out or snapped them off" I dont know how he can tell that they were properly in place if they were in fact "ripped off or snapped off", there would be no way to tell that they were on correct. And if someone looks at the bumper you will see that he is lying because there is NOTHING snapped off or RIPPED off. The completely fabricated response from this local business owner should anger the Revdex.com as much as it angers me the consumer who paid for this lack of repair. I would not want someone else to experience this horrible customer service then have the owner of the company lie to cover up their neglect. Please see attached document showing all mistakes in repair and the photos clearly dispute his claim that a parking block ripped off the bumper. The damage from something like that would be easily visible. The owner and Del's is responsible for the repair of my vehicle and that is the only acceptable solution to this issue. Thank you,
