Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I read the dealer response, but I don’t agree and we did not settle this matter I got stranded and had to have my car towed to another shop and had to pay for NEW battery, NEW belt, dealer gave me a cover at n/c claiming the cause of my belt to break ( which I had to pick up mind you) and gave me check for $or something ( can’t recall at this moment) , but the bill was $( can’t recall the full amount at this moment), leaving me to pay the remaining??? As I said, I brought my car with only check light on ABS and that was corrected $( more or less, but the belt kept breaking 3x ( 2x, I drove it back and just made it to dealer-draining my battery out, 1x I was stranded and towed my car to another service shop, which complete drained my battery out )I now I have a check engine light on and they are washing their hands, because they gave me a free diagnose with an estimate of $to correct the issue? I ‘am I missing something? No check engine light prior, but now I have it and their saying its fixed and they corrected the issue? Dealer response, car was not purchased from them, what does that have to do with it? Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because Good evening , but let's stay with facts I brought my car with only light that turned on only when I drove past mphTsc tracking control and would turn off as well n a slight noise thus my reason to bring to the dealer It was diagnosed and agreed upon to repair and cost to correct the issue I left my carOnly to receive a call stating my car still made a noise but no lights on They told me top motor mount and cost n I responded why didn't you catch it on the original diagnose no response , asked will this correct issue dealer replied yes I agreed upon it I pick up my car only to race to return it back to the decker because my belt broke , keep in mind no Check engine light on They fix it and I leave , no check engine light on a couple week my belt breaks yet again, I race my car back to dealer and it just made it , battery totally drained Dealer fixed and I'm asking what is the cause n they are stating because this cover in my car is missing ? I responded the whole winter went by and my belt never broke ? They fix it , I drive off no check engine light on or week my belt breaks yet again , but this time I m left stranded I call a couple towing company and get estimate from where I was to dealer I get quotes $plus luckily I have triple aAnd have it towed to service station that now the 3rd time my belt breaks , keep in my mind no check engine light on and I contact the dealer to be advised they ll pay for belt but not battery after they advise dealer myBattery was totally drained and dead but cut check for $or so we argue and fax over fax to dealer but they will not budge couple day guess what my check engine light comes on I bring to dealer n diagnose n give me estimate $to correct issue we discuss n argue n manger tell me he washes his hands since I did not purchase the car at dealer ? I responded what does have to do with ? Brought myCar with light n paid to fix n now ILeaving with light on, I m I missing something ??? Why would I want to bring my car to a dealer with excuses ? He did call me and left a VM in which I did not respond because after belt break the dealer washes their hand?? I did personally deal with this customer several months ago and thought that we had come to an acceptable resolution with him. I have not heard from him in months so I assumed things were good.We did service this vehicle and worked with the customer to goodwill him additional services and a
complimentary diagnosis of his remaining issues. He did not buy this car from our dealership and the issues he was experiencing were unrelated to the items that we worked on in our service department. I understand that it can be frustrating when a car has mechanical issues, and it is easy to assume that any problems that arise shortly after a visit to a service center may be the responsibility of that service center, however in this case it was quite clear that we resolved the issues that we were asked to fix and that the check engine light came on due to other problems with the car.We did reimburse the customer for expenses he incurred by having it worked on again after it left our shop as another goodwill offer. Once again, I felt we had done everything we could within reason to resolve the customer's complaints.I will be reaching out the customer directly to attempt to discuss and the resolve any outstanding issues.Please let me know how we can go about formally responding to and hopefully removing this complaint.Thank you.Vin V*** General ManagerWantagh M*** *** *** *** ** ***

We have reached out to this customer by phone with no answer and no call back. As previously stated we believed that we acted in good faith to assist the customer several months ago with the issues on the vehicle. We attempted to go the extra mile and even provided complimentary service and diagnostics. At that time the customer stated directly to me that he was ok with the resolution and accepted our good will offers. Now several months later he is looking for additional things.The current issue with the car is not related to any work performed by this dealership, as was discussed with the customer when the car was here previously. We simply diagnosed the issues (at no charge) after repairing other unrelated issues. The customers current requests from us are not within the parameters that we can offerWe are still interested in hearing from the customer to see if there is anything else we can do to assist
