not "free"If a car has been damaged seriously enough to be deemed "totalled" it would be branded as having a "Salvaged" titleThat is not the case with MrA***'s Honda.We inspect every used vehicle before it is offered for saleIf there is a problem with a car, we fix it or we wholesale the vehicleThere were no problems noted with MrA***'s Honda when we inspected itMrA*** also had the option of having his CRV inspected himself before he purchased itFrom your letter, it seems he had no problems during the plus months he drove it either.Once again, we inspected MrA***'s Honda prior to the saleIt is not a "death-trap," nor was it "maliciously" offered for saleHis letter is insulting.We have been in business in Santa Maria since We have many repeat customers and would have been happy to work with MrA*** if he had contacted usWe could have made an independent appraisal of his Honda to see if it was actually worth whatever amount MrA*** was toldJust because a salesperson at some dealership told him they thought it was worth X amount of money while they were trying to sell him a car, does not mean it is actually worth whatever amount they decided to tell himWe also could have helped MrA*** into a different car and saved him money that way too.We will not offer a cash settlement because an unknown salesperson at an unknown dealership offered him an unknown amount of money underneath an unknown market value price for a car we have not seen since he drove off our lot.Thank you for relaying the information to us.Sincerely,M*** *** General Sales Manager
