KOL Foods

We ordered from KOl foods a few years back and noticed some issues with regards to quality and freshness. Some of the items purchased were good and others seemed refrozen and not fresh. We are kosher and limited by the vendors we use so I tried them a few more times. The second before last purchase was disastrous as I had to throw out almost all the chicken purchased; the lady at the office said they had refrigeration issues and was very nice as well as offered to resend me new chicken. I , wanted to be honest and due to an uncertainty of the exact quantity (as it had been thrown out and we have a deep freezer with other items) did not take her up on the offer. I waited months and just made another purchase paying over five hundred dollars in freight to ensure the merchandise's freshness. Most of the items looked good (I have not cooked any yet) but upon delivery some of the ground beef was brown and old and not in the size packages I ordered; it appeared they threw in leftovers. I reached out to KOL foods (sent them photos and later threw out the meat) and asked them for a refund. I received a long email which in effect putting the blame on me (to pay for expedited shipping) stated there is nothing wrong with brown color beef, did nothing to apologize and never offered any refund or sort.
I will be using another organic source of kosher beef and or chicken in the future.
