comments as they are difficult to read. Second. Ernie was not doing the flooring as Floorcrafters was doing that. Everything in the kitchen was removed but the dishwasher, fridge, and stove. None of that was communicated however prior to his arrival. As far as closets, he never communicated that either, but he was not doing the floors in them. The closets should not have been an issue. Communication on his part from the beginning was poor. When I tried to communicate on things he said make a list. When I did that he said more than one time we were not picky. The latch on the back door was discussed, but not something I asked him to do. In fact I have a recollection of doing at least one but thought I did both. He told me how  they worked. This entire issue is not about a little door latch. The backsplash was paid for by myself at [redacted]. As for the small wall, I had nothing to do with that. My wife, (Melissa) was home at the time and he had a conversation as he brought it up. She asked how much it would be and he said less than $200. Again, his last working day was April 21st, and we received a labor bill of $5,000. Is it not logical to assume that everything done prior to that time was in the $5,000 labor that we paid for. How does someone come back several months later and ask for more labor for something that was done in the first few days. Bedroom base was ordered and the closet trim was not to be done. We had made that decision early on. He never said the trim was damaged when anything was removed. If it was, I can understand things happen, but then communicate that. He had to redo the trim on both windows to make them look the same. I have no idea if that labor was a part of the labor I paid for. Again, there was no itemization of specific labor charges. Only specification was when he billed us more on labor. As far as his willingness to discuss the situation, he has not contacted me since April 21st. We sent a letter expressing to [redacted] that we are willing to talk about it. That was several weeks ago. He specifically said he would be back in 5 weeks to finish what little he had left. Finding time to cut base board for three bedrooms should not be that hard to fit in the schedule. I was the one to make a phone contact in July about it. That's right, July!
