We received the service request from [redacted] to work on their HP COLOR LASERJET CMMFP, which is not under a service maintenance agreement with us The device was making a noise and we advised customer the first step was to replace the internal transfer belt, which may or may not fix the issue The customer acknowledged and gave approval for us to go ahead and replace the part When the part didn't fix the problem, we advised the next part to replace was a logic board and the price associated with that to which the customer requested for us not to go any further with the repair, they did not want to spend any more money on it We closed the service call and sent out the invoice for the time spent and the part used Customer has refused to pay even though they were informed beforehand that the part may not fix issue Our suggestion to resolve this issue would be for us to go back into the account, remove the part that we put into the machine, deduct the cost of the part from the invoice which would leave only the labor component as owed to KMBS Regards -- [redacted] Konica Minolta Bluegrass Parkway Louisville, Ky Ph - ###-###-####%
