I purchased a dress from kkontroversi.com in September of 2013. The dress was a size too large, so I emailed the owner of the website requesting a smaller size. I was informed that she did not have the dress in a smaller size, but I could exchange it for another item. After months of checking the website regularly to make an exchange, I found very limited options, none of which interested me. As a result, I sent an email inquiring about receiving a refund. I did not receive a response. A few weeks later, I sent another email about a refund and once again, no response. A few weeks later, I sent a third email stating that if I could not receive a refund that is understandable, however, not responding is unacceptable. Again, no response. So, the owner of this website currently has $40.99 of my money and I have nothing to show for it. Business Response As stated by the claimant, We, KonTroversi, did respond to the complaint in a professional and timely manner. At that time the claimant was informed of our policy, "NO REFUNDS, EXCHANGE ONLY". "All items must be shipped back to the company and received in a satisfactory condition, once all items are received you will receive a credit for the item, in the amount of $40.99". "With this credit you are allowed to apply it to anything listed on our site". The claimant was aware of the policy and proceeded to send the item back and accept the credit of $40.99. The claimant has yet to use the credit and argues the reason being that the store items are "none of interest to me". Unfortunately, as a business, we can not provide refunds based upon the personal taste of one individual customer. We do apologize for any inconvenience and would like to advise the customer that the issued credit is still valid. Please continue to check our site for new and upcoming arrivals.
