During my time at Koodo I constantly asked for a means to block US and International roaming and was told it wasn't an option Sadly I travel on a regular basis to the United States for work and require a good roaming package, the intention was only to use a US cell while travel but a few occasions I was forced to use my Koodo phone and without warning with or without travel add-ons I have ended up with a huge debt from roaming and data usage overages I have pleaded Koodo many times for assistance before leaving for another carrier but they wouldn't help or even properly register my complaint [redacted] Two thumbs down, stay away at all cost

Twice in one year I have been [redacted] by a collections agency for an outstanding balance on my Koodo billI have explained to customer service that I am not organized enough nor is my memory good enough to remember to pay my bill every month without an actual bill/invoiceBut this is now the second time that I've been contacted from a collections agency after receiving no Bill, no notifications of an overdue bill, no communication whatsoever giving me a chance to payI am paying my bill and cancelling my service indefinitely

Not sure how they get away with their business practices [redacted] I have a plan with them a pre authorized payment planThey take out my payment monthly Then they text you and tell you, you have to top it up asap as yoiur phone will discontinue on December 30-at two a.m I said I have automatic top upThey said no you don't you have to do it manuallySo I said OK take out the payment Well what do you know they took the manualThen they took an automatic payment This is the the time this has happened within a year I was finally able to speak to a supervisorIt took hour minutes to resolve it sort of They say it can take up to two weeks to reimburse the paymentThis is not adequate They screw up and then you have to beg to get your money back Be out on hold for over a half hourEtc Very poor business practicesI feel they are bordering on fraudulent business practices No business should be able to run this way They should be investigated [redacted]

Found their service and rates excellent No issues at all and easily deal with and no different than any other provider except way less expensive

I have a plan which includes 3GB of data per billing cycle. I always run out of data before the cycle ends, and I always purchase data add-ons at a cost of either $5 or $10. I just discovered that the remaining data I purchased the day before my new billing cycle was not rolled over into the new billing cycle. All the remaining data from the add-on that I paid for was cancelled, and they started the new billing cycle fresh with the 3GB. Data that I paid separately for was lost permanently. I was told by Koodo that this was their policy. I'd like to know how this is legal.
