My first disagreement is that no one from Home Care Assistance contacted meThis was the biggest disappointment that I was unable to discuss this problem with ***Though it states that he tried twice to contact me, I have no cell phone record of any calls from HCA
While the prosecutor doesn't normally prosecute these type of cases, I do have the cards that were thrown in the trash and fingerprints could be taken to prove who had taken my items
Unfortunately, this entire situation has left a very bad taste in our mouths, we will not be using HCA again and will certainly not recommend this agency to our other friends who are also caring for their family members

I work from home and I haven't been able to be in my home for the last 2 weeks until today. I found the...

letter, opened, and in a pile of mail that was in a box in my garage today.That being said, I can have a full response to you no later than Monday March 6th regarding this complaint. I will have to go through and get all the relevant information and documents. However, below is a short summary of where I stand.In short, [redacted] is under contract to complete the repairs per the insurance scope of loss. Their claim was approved and a deposit was made. Since then they have not allowed me to complete the work even though I have offered to do so on at least 5 different occasions, nor have they been willing to accept the 10% cancellation fee per the terms of the contract. To date, I have not received a notice of cancellation in writing via electronic or traditional mail. At no point have I told them I wasn't going to refund them their deposit or have they explicitly cancelled the contract. They have also written blatantly false and damaging reviews about my company on Angie's List and the Revdex.com. They have also emailed me with threats of lawsuits since writing those reviews even though I have given them the following options1. Allow me to complete the repairs per our contract(attached).2. Send a notice of cancellation in writing(email or traditional) and I will refund them their deposit minus 10% of the contract total and the cost of any repairs already completed.Again, I apologize for responding so slowly and I assure you there will be no further delays on my part regarding the situation. I will have everything to you by the end of the day Monday. Thank you for your time and I look forward to working with you to resolve this issue.
