initial quotes I always mention the following: We charge $100 per hour and that covers a truck as well as 2 guys, we start the time when we arrive at your location and we stop the time when we unload the last item in to the new house. We always break the last hour down into 15minute increments and there is no minimum or deposit required. We do have a small one time only travel charge and that is depending on your location from our office which in this case was $45. This policy is what is required to every customer. It is stated to every customer immediately after they give me the inventory of what is to be moved and the address'.  I apologize that the customer felt this was not mentioned but it has been established with all our customers and we always have a travel charge and I make a mention to have no hidden fees and customer had said that I said there was no travel charge. Also there was an inital Facebook message sent regarding the previous phone call with the customer which I didn't not get a response from. The  Customer initially  had sent a very lengthy message at  839pm on Monday night, we were not in the office, when I did not respond by first thing the next morning the customer proceeded to send continuous messages which did included 2 x-rays of her hips as well as a few pictures of items that we assisted with. I personally called the customer on Tuesday to comment on her lengthy message, my very first statement to customer was that I appreciate her using Hungry Man Moving and I apologized to her and I was going to see what we could to do resolve this matter. Next I proceeded to say that I wanted to go over her comment and then we can discuss what we need to discuss in each matter, however that was what happened. Each time I mentioned something I was interjected and couldn't proceed. After a non-cooperative phone call the customer hung up on me. I felt that nothing I said or did was going to resolve this matter over the phone, I apologized multiple time and said I was going to look into a broken item. I then sent a message via facebook and was waiting for her to message saying this was ok to discuss via messenger. Hungry Man Moving has experienced movers working for us and we are here to have longevity with customers and build a relationship. We want to grow and have had a large number of repeat customers or recommended customers, we have gone above and beyond for this customer as we do for all our customers. We do not disconnect and reconnect washers and dryers to do the possibility of water damage  with water still in the hose also we do not get things off walls as well as hang things up but due this circumstance we wanted to help customer in her condition. I apologize that the customer felt threated but no threats were made and the only items missing which I apologized for was the items in the basement that the customer had said she didn't know if it was going to fit in the new house and it was not required and after we asked to due a final walk thru of the basement she declined. We are very fast and efficient however there are all different variables that come up within a move such as an ally that is that can delay a time and cost more but we pride our selves on customer service and flexibility for customers.   Hungry Man Moving as a company is here to make things stress free and as easy as possible however this time the customer seemed fully satisfied with our services and wanted to connect both our services until the following 839pm message Monday night after we would not give her any money back.  I would like to resolve this in a reasonable matter and let the truth be told on our behalf as well as receive our 2 pieces of equipment back.

o Whom it May ConcernI am the remitter of a complaint filed against a small business. I initially received an email from you acknowledging my complaint and requesting any documents between the business and myself. The deadline for this said 5days. I am wondering is this 5business or calendar days? Today marks 4 calendar days. I have taken pictures of the one document I have, which is the business' receipt given to me. I am attaching it here as I cannot find where to attach it via the website. Is there somewhere I may remit the pictures of all of my broken items, the large amount of marketing material the owner left with me and told me to post at my local coffee shops, the pictures of the small amount of items I actually hired them to move ON their truck, the messages from ** and threatening VM he left me from the move as well? All of this is supporting evidence to my claim. Thank you so much.PLEASE NOTE: the 'circled' answers on the receipt were instructions by Vern [redacted])to me when he handed me the pen. He had to scribble out the costs as he incorrectly was trying to charge me. After yelling at me and becoming very defensive about his error, I was afraid to inquire any further of my discrepancy of his charges. I followed his instructions in fear of his behaviors towards me at this point, which included him telling me what to circle, by literally pointing to it and telling me, "circle here, here, and say something nice here'. My one word response "awesome" was indeed NOT how I felt by this time, yet again with him standing over me and telling me what to write, I was afraid to say otherwise.
