Korean Air is working on resolving the problem by contacting customer directly for the reimbursement

Revdex.com:I did talk the the travel agency, and they told me the cancelation was partially due to the malfunction of automated system from Korean AirNonetheless, Korean Air should establish a safety mechanism to notify passengers when their trips are cancelled

It is both Korean Air and industry standard practice to notify passenger(s) regarding any schedule changes using thecontact information provided.The contact Information is e-mail and/or phone number. .For e-mail, Korean Air will send out the notification automatically. For phone contact, our call...

center will directly contactthe passenger.However for this case, the passenger purchased the ticket through a travel agency.It is the responsibility of the travel agency to collect the necessary contact information.In this matter, we verified with the travel agency which informed Korean Air the passenger did not provide a local contactinformation.Therefore we recommend the consumer to contact the travel agency directly tor resolution.Korean Air always put our customer as #1 priority.Therefore always emphasize on contact information whenever passengers purchase our ticket.Slncerely,Alan F**Senior Manager
