10/16/2015Dear *** ***,As a representative of Korean Red Ginseng Centreville Store, we appreciate the opportunity to address this complaintWe recognize Revdex.com (Revdex.com) plays an important role in serving as an intermediary between businesses and customers and we aim to support
you in this endeavorAs a local business not affiliated with Revdex.com, we do not have any legal obligation to respond but to better assist our customer we conducted an initial inquiry regarding this complaintDuring our initial inquiry, we reviewed customer’s receipt, disclosure of our store return policy and interviewed our sales associate to determine whether the remedy requested by the customer is reasonable and within store policy.On October 7, 2015, the customer inquired our sales associate regarding a sunscreen and the customer purchased our *** Red Ginseng Perfect Jelly Sun Pact Sunscreen productPrior to the purchase, the customer was able to test the product and determine whether the product meets the need of the customerAt our store, we provide samples of our skincare products for our customers which provide an ample opportunity to test our products prior to making the purchaseAfter the sale, the customer unwrapped the sunscreen product and proceeded to use it on her skin but the customer complained to our sales associate that the product had a manufacturing issueCustomer explained that the sunscreen was flaky with residue materials but our sales associate demonstrated the correct method to apply the sunscreenCustomer did not follow the instruction as stated on the sunscreen packaging and demanded that we issue a refund on a used sunscreen productAfter reviewing our store return policy, our sales associate did not issue a refund and the customer left the product at our store without a refundWe reviewed the opened sunscreen product that the customer purchased at our store and based on our review the product had no manufacturing issues.The complaint states that we do not have a clear return policyDuring our inquiry, we reviewed our return policy disclosures to ensure our customers are fully aware of our return policyAccording to our review, store return policy is clearly displayed at our point of sale (Attachment A) and it is displayed on our receipt (Attachment B)We believe our store return policy is clearly disclosed to our customersRegretfully, we cannot refund a used opened product that does not have any quality issuesHowever, the customer can pick up the opened sunscreen that the customer purchased and she can stop at our Centreville store during our business hours.Again, we appreciate the opportunity to address this complaint and please feel free to contact us with any additional questions.Sincerely,
