Korg U.S.A. Inc. Reviews (2)

Review: I purchased a VOX NT2H amplifier, serial number [redacted] on 07/**/2013.

The unit stoped working on 09/**/2013.

Per the warranty card specific instructions, I sent the unit back to the place where I had purchased it (Pro Audio Star, (tel: ###-###-####, order #[redacted], customer ID [redacted] PO #[redacted]). The written warranty that came with the product states that tubes are warranted for 90 days, and other items for 1 year).

Pro Star Audio sent the unit back to me, and stated that they were an authorized distributor, and not an authorized repair facility.

After receiving the unit, I took it to Brookmill Television, [redacted], as they ware listed on the KORG web- site as an authorized service facility.

The person at Brookmill Television did some research, came back and told me that they are an authorized VOX service center,

but could not work on the VOX NT2H, as they are not authorized by VOX to work on this device.

I am getting the complete run-around here, the information of where to send the product listed on the warranty card is not correct, and the place listed on the KORG website for authorized repair is not correct also.

I sent an e-mail to KORG USA (KORG USA is the autorized distributor of VOX products in the United States) at [redacted] on 09-**-13, asking where to send my defective product for warranty service.

I did not receive a reply to my e-mail, and a called KORG directly at ###-###-####, on 09/**/13.

The person I talked to at KORG said they had received my e-mail, and management has not made a decision on what to do.

I asked when will they make a decision, and she said by the end of the day.

I did not receive any reply by the end of the day, and it is now 09/**/13 at the time of this writing.

Please provide me with any and all information reguarding my rights as a consumer, and how to proceed with this maner.

Please post my case on your site, so that others purchasing this product can be informed of my experiences with KORG USA.Desired Settlement: I would like for KORG to provide an address as where I can send this unit for warranty repair and or exchange. I would like for the unit to be repaired or exchaged under warranty and returned to me.

Response:

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Korg U.S.A. Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Korg has instructed me to take the defective amplifier to Brook-Mill Television in Ft. Wayne, IN.

I took the amplifier to Brook-Mill Television on September **, 2013.

I called Brookmill on October ** (3 weeks after delivery), and they noted that parts have not been supplied from Korg to repair the defective unit.

This status update was submitted on 10/**/2013.

Sincerely,
