We bought our home on 6/3, and our home owners fees were paid by the previous owners through 6/ I received a letter via mail from Kornerstone Community Management (dated 8/2/2016) on 8/5/stating that I have an overdue balancePrior to this letter, I never received a bill or invoice or any information on my account with this HOA groupThe letter states "please submit payment within fourteen days from the date of this letter to avoid any further collection efforts." There was no attachment with this letter detailing and itemizing the "overdue balance." There was also no contact information other than that provided on the letterhead
I contacted them at the phone number on the letter as soon as I got the letter on 8/5, however their office had closed at 2pm on Friday I contacted them again on Monday and used the company directory to find the woman whose name is on the letter, ***s, and left her a message stating why I was calling and to call me back as soon as possible to get it straightened out I did not receive a phone call backI called again on 8/at 2:and had to leave a message again for ***I then called at 4:53pm and left a message on the company's general voicemail box I called again on 8/at 10:am, as well as at 2:01pm, and had to leave another message for *** I called at 2:03pm to leave a message on the company's general voicemail box Getting frustrated that I haven't been able to get a live voice contact, I used their website contact form to try and send an email I received an immediate out of office reply simply stating "Our office is currently closed."
Thinking that was suspicious, I *** the address on the letter and received search results stating this location was permanently closed and there were no additional information on other possible office locations There was even a result showing the exact location and suite being available for lease
I called again on 8/at 9:36am and now ***s's extension has been disabled
This is extremely unprofessional As a business, they need to be more transparent and a valid phone number and location needs to be provided to the people from whom they are taking money

We're trying to block any tractions and retrieve the funds that belong to the association.Desired SettlementWe'd like for Kornerstone be removed from [redacted]' deposit accounts and give up control if they haven't embezzled all funds yet.
