Kostas bar and grill

I am writing in response to the complaint that Mr. T[redacted] filed against Kostas Bar and Grill. Mr. T[redacted] states that he was served raw food which is untrue. He ordered a BBQ chicken dinner that came with 2 sides a vegetable and a cup of soup at the price of $10.99. His son ordered a Ruben with fries,...

ate it and had no complaint. Mr. T[redacted] did send his chicken back stating that it was cold, dry and reheated, not raw. I told the waitress to offer him a new piece or something else which she did. He then got a cheeseburger cooked medium rare with fries. A little while later he sent that back also, stating it had blood in it. The problem was he ate 90% of the cheeseburger and ordered it medium rare, so at this point I did go speak to Mr. T[redacted]. He preceded to tell me his chicken was cold and reheated. I did try to explain to him that some of our daily specials are made/ prepped the morning of and have to be reheated. He then stated his cheeseburger had blood in it and he was not paying for anything. I tried to explain to him he ordered it medium rare and ate 90% of it. He became very agitated stating that medium rare is slightly pink, which is incorrect. He also stated that he bit into his broccoli and water came out? ( which all was eaten except for one piece). I again tried to explain to him that broccoli is cooked in water. He proceeded to tell me he was also unhappy with our mayonnaise as well. At this point I knew that there was nothing more I could do for him. l At no point did Mr. T[redacted] offer to pay for all of the sides he had eaten. If he had he would have understood that the sides he ate well exceeded the $10.99 he paid. The sides he consumed from both entrees he received came to a total of $17.33 not including the 90% of the burger he also ate. After his continued refusal to pay the police were called and at that time he became irrational and irate throughout the restaurant where people were trying to enjoy there dinner. Unfortunately for Mr T[redacted] his complaints keep changing throughout social media and the B.B.B. I have been employed at Kostas for 18 years and have never had something like this happen. He has berated me via social media calling me a "coward" and a "nasty woman." And when my employer did respond to his complaint his response in a private message was" clearly this is a woman speaking". I berated me via social media calling me a "coward" and a "nasty woman." I'm not sure if mr. T[redacted]'s disdain is forbroccoli that is cooked in water, not knowing what medium rare is, food that sometimes has to be reheated or that I'm a woman!! In closing we do not feel there is anything else we can do for thisgentleman considering what he ate far exceeded what he was charged for. did my absolute best to resolve the situation to no avail.
