We worked on ** *** year old Truck
It was in a very poor condition when he came to us.
The paint on all panels is original and there are scratches all over it
The roof and the hood however was very bad and clear coat had oxidized and paint was damagedThe fenders to left and right
also showed sun damage
We painted the roof and the hood only to an agreed price of $1200.-
We did the workHe inspected the car after, was happy with the the quality of the work done and signed the Invoice and paid us in full
He was complaining that that there was buffing compound in some areas so we offered to clean it up
Later he came back and claimed that we added/damaged his Truck by adding scratches to already scratched panels ?!
After arguing for quite some time and since we realized that MrReyes is completely unreasonable we decided to do additional work on his Truck for free
Due to a "inch minor scratch" on either side to the rear cabin we repainted the rearAgain, he didn't pay for the additional work and we gave him a loaner vehicle free of charge as well during his 2nd visit
When he came back he was happy with the rear cabin work but now he started claiming that we added more scratches to his vehicle and was requesting that we paint more additional panels for free
He got angry, and used abusive language towards my employees and then started threatening to sue us.
We ran out of energy to reason with him and told him to do what he thinks he has to do
Please let me know if you have any more questions and I'll get back to you as I'll check my emails once a day

On 2/7/Henry Landwehr visited our dealership and was interested in vehicles, a Audi Qand a Chevrolet Silverado. He test drove both. He decided to purchase the Audi Qfrom us and declined to purchase the day Contract Cancellation Option. He returned
to us the following day expressing his desire to return the vehicle because it was too complicated for him. We were under no obligation to take the car back, but in the end decided to allow him to return the vehicle. He then test drove the Chevrolet Silverado one more time and decided to purchase it. We also offered him again the 2-day Contract Cancellation option, which he declined. We are not obligated to offer this on a second purchase (documents attached) He made no mention of any desire to change the wheels or tires on the truck. The truck was clearly advertised with it being lowered and equipped with custom 22" wheels. He even purchased a service contract from us which covers the vehicle, even equipped with this lowering kit. He made no contact with us until Friday 2/16/when he expressed his frustration about fitting different wheels and tires on the truck. He was given an estimate by an autobody shop of over $2,to return the vehicle to stock ride height so he could install different wheels and tires. We expressed to him that this may not be necessary. Stock 17" wheels should still fit this vehicle just fine with a slight adjustment in tire size. The 22" wheel/tire combo on this vehicle is only 1.3" taller overall than the 17" original setup from factory. He told us he would bring in a factory set of wheels and tires for us to mount on the vehicle and check fitment for him at a later date once he acquired those wheels/tires from a friend. We both agreed to stay in touch once he acquired those items and we would schedule an appointment to have them installed. This was the last we heard from him

On 2/7/2018 Henry[redacted] visited our dealership and was interested in 2 vehicles, a 2012 Audi Q5 and a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado.  He test drove both.  He decided to purchase the 2012 Audi Q5 from us and declined to purchase the 2 day Contract Cancellation Option.  He returned to us the following day expressing his desire to return the vehicle because it was too complicated for him.  We were under no obligation to take the car back, but in the end decided to allow him to return the vehicle if he purchased another vehicle.  We charged him no restocking fees or cancellation fee.  He then test drove the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado one more time and decided to purchase it.  We also offered him again the 2-day Contract Cancellation option, which he declined.  We are not obligated to offer this on a second purchase. He made no mention of any desire to change the wheels or tires on the truck at the time of purchase.  The truck was clearly advertised with it being lowered and equipped with custom 22" wheels.  He even purchased a service contract from us which covers the vehicle, even equipped with this lowering kit.  He made no contact with us until Friday 2/16/2018 when he expressed his frustration about fitting different wheels and tires on the truck.  He was given an estimate by an autobody shop of over $2,500 to return the vehicle to stock ride height so he could install different wheels and tires.  We expressed to him that this may not be necessary.  Stock 17" wheels should still fit this vehicle just fine with a slight adjustment in tire size.  The 22" wheel/tire combo on this vehicle is only 1.3" taller overall than the 17" original setup from factory.  This is  a very common upgrade/modification that people do to these trucks.  He told us he would bring in a factory set of wheels and tires for us to mount on the vehicle and check fitment for him at a later date once he acquired those wheels/tires from a friend.  We both agreed to stay in touch once he acquired those items and we would schedule an appointment to have them installed.  This was the last we heard from him.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
they never verbally explained this thing called lowed kit the truck had altered from the factory.
they did not explain it woukd cost $2500+
tures and rims to correct the truck to factory recommended height and tires.
thrh did not explain the condition of the vehicle as is with tires being eaten up with the set up.
the front tires are bald on the inside tread.
it appears dangerous to drive at freeway speeds.
I believe as a consumer they should have explained the condition of the vehicle.’I said from the get go I was going to replace the tires and rims .
they said in I would have no problem selling the tires and rims for $200 each on Craigslist.
I think I would be lucky to get $100 for each tire and rim.
they knew I was going to replace the tires and did not explain the tires may not fit with this set up.I feel like the sucker at a carnival.
very depressing a business in Sonoma behaves this way.
Sincerely,Henry[redacted]
