rejecting this response because:The response from the company is not the truth.  I submitted a request with specific instructions for a custom product.  The original communication requesting the product is attached.  In fact, the company had made this exact product for me in the past.  The company sent me a price quote for the product, but changed the specifications from the specifications they had originally built and that I had again requested.  I accepted the order, and now I am being punished for not catching their mistake.  Seems odd, doesn't it, that the customer is responsible to make sure the company doesn't make a mistake, especially when they had already produces the product?  So they say I'm at fault - for not seeing their error.  Great concept of customer service.

Our warranty covers: Warranty is calculated from the date of original purchase. The warranty protects your furniture cover against damage when used under normal conditions and does not cover damage from acts of god, vandalism, neglect, misuse, or improper use such as wind whippage. Damage caused by heavy storms and high winds will not be covered under warranty. Warranty is void if the cover has been modified in any way. This warranty is in lieu of all warranties expressed or implied, and under no circumstances shall we be liable for any damages in excess of the covers' original purchase price.While we are very sorry this has happen and went over what =the warranty covers in an attempt to help resolve this issue we are not responsible for these covers.

see that this customer had problems within the first year, so we attempted to do better by offering a 50%, and even offering the chance to upgrade to a more suitable fabric for the customer's location with the same 50% discount.  The 50% discount on the upgraded material amounts to more than the full value of the customer's purchase.

As we did not sell the item to the customer, we are unable to offer a full refund.  The best we can offer is a partial credit using the warranty terms, as already discussed.
