I have paid the contractor the full amount of his two bills, one for $3800.00  and the second for $1305.00.  The contractor has been paid in full, by check and he has cashed both checks.  He attempted to charge me for hiring a crane , contrary to our agreement, and that charge was deducted from the second bill, before it was paid.  I met with the contractor in person and he agreed to the subtraction.
