I contracted Kraft moving Company services for a moveto NY after checking Revdex.com and other sources We wanted an overnight moveDue to the holidays and other personal reasons, the move time and duration was very important to us The owner of this company assured us that he can make it happenHe told us that the movers will reach city on Jan 2nd and will be in your aprtment on Jan 3rd early in the morning All went well when they picked up my daughter's stuff from her apartment Problems surfaced when we found out the movers that were expected to show up early morning of Jan 3rd was not even in NY state We called him, then the company and they called him He was on his way and he eventually made it few minutes before noonHere is the PROBLEM and COMPLAINT reason Not only they were VEY late, the movers were a dad and his year old girl You can imagine our shock when we realized that having lost all morning, now we have to deal with ADDITIONAL delay Watching a year old girl move was unbearable so we pitched inFinally stuff was all in and I paid remaining balance after discusing my displeasure with owner on the phone several times and requesting a REFUND of some sort I was assured that they will look into it I missed my flight back to ohio and had to take a late night flight I could not help my daughter unpack as was planned Above all, most of the stuff was soaking wet as the gentleman who was moving had to keep all the stuff on the road where there was standing water as his year old daughter could not help When we questioned the mover about his daughter, he said there was supposed to be help that would have come from Brooklyn, he decided to bring his daughter instead After several calls to this business on a request to refund, today I was told that the move was done and done as expected For a company to charge dollars, come real late and send a year old to move stuff is un expectable Please request the company to issue a refund of $( plane ticket and paintings that were destroyed) because they did not provide services for the amount I paidAlso, someone should look into child labor laws as well Thanks
