Called business and spoke with owner Michael Kramer - he stated that there was no contract, consnever requested contract, it was several small jobs He states that he never got paid up front, each job was paid for upon completion He also states that he does not owe consumer for power washer, it was a part of the verbal deal It was more like a bartering situation where the job was appx $4,and they settled on $and power washer He states that he helped her file for her insurance and believes she never wanted a contract because she wanted to spend money on other things

The BACK HALL1-That part of the ceiling drywall only was done by Kramer.2- Drywall only on wall by Kramer.3-7- Drywall, compound, rest of walls & ceiling with sanding, primed & painted by us.8-pics elect box on wall with wires hanging out of box. This box controls things including the outside light & outside outlet for roof heat tapeAlso, the ceiling light is controlled & a lite on the switch to show the heat tape is on/off.There are ceiling lights in the back hall which we installed after he left the job.The window on the back wall is the one the worker sprung when installing the outside frameWhen you close the window, it won't close all the wayIt springs upYou have to push & hold it down then lockThere is no fix to thisWe took the frame off, thinking it would take the tension from the the window, but it didn'tHe had less than 1/the drywall on the ceiling & barely 1/the drywall on the walls, unfinishedBTW, he was paid to finish & prime the drywall . It is now sprung forever. The only fix is to replace the window or put up with itIt's a shame the workers did not have the knowledge to do quality workKramer & his foreman commented on the poor workmanship of his employee .We were to do the paintingNow it's finished, except for electric (this week)10-pics of spare room ceiling unfinishedIt was supposed to to finished & primed. Many pics show cracking at wall & ceiling seamYou can see the net or drywall tape right thru the first coat of compound. In this batch, you can see the ceiling with the electrical box & wires showing where a light was to be connected. Then, the is the wall swich that was never connectedYou can see where the worker cut the box too low & then it had to be moved upleaving it & not repairing itWe finished the trim around the inside windows.Kramer was supposed to finish the outside aluninum trim on the spare room windowsWhat you see is the old trim that neded to be replaced & was hanging offWe have tacked in in temporarily, but intend to replace in the springThere was no drywall in the bathroom ceilingIt was supposed to be done by Kramer.Pics show the bathroom is now completely done with, drywall, sanding, priming & paintingFinished by us . Mike has a right to be paid for the work he did, but he is not to be paid for work he did not doBy his own admission, he completed only 1/the drywall1/the electric, & 1/the window installation with aluminum trim outsideHe has a duty to the homeowner to finish the job he was paid to do with or without a contractHe knows exactly what he was to do & to leave a job unfinished is unacceptableI have a notebook with price breakdown that Mike Kramer was aware of & even wrote comments inHe did not do $of work & does not deserve to be paid that amountHe also does not deserve the power washer without paying for it or doing a job worth the price of it. It's terrible to have to deal with contractors who get away taking money as the down payment for materials, asking for more money, then leave an unfinished job with the homeowner left to pick up the piecesThen the homeowner usually has to pay a lot more money to finish the shoddy work left by 1st contractor. With the help from the Revdex.com maybe less deceitful contractor will eventually be forced out of business.People who go to the Revdex.com for recommendations for contractors can see for themselves the" good' ones from the" bad" ones. Thanks, for hearing me out & hope you can make sense of all of this,*** * *** ***

washer, it was a part of the verbal deal.  It was more like a bartering situation where the job was appx $4,000 and they settled on $3750.00 and power washer.  He states that he helped her file for her insurance and believes she never wanted a contract because she wanted to spend money on other things.
