I am writing in regards to complaint #[redacted]  Attached, please find Mr. [redacted]'s original letter, our response and Mr. [redacted]'s response to our e-mail.  Our attached response to his letter will provide you with our response to this complaint.  The sale listing...

of Mr. [redacted]'s vehicle was, as stated in our e-mail, done in error.  The vehicle was removed from our various websites and removed from our sales listings upon discovering my error.  What Mr. [redacted] fails to realize is that I am responsible for literally hundreds of new and pre-owned vehicles.  His vehicle is but one in this vast array of vehicles.  I update my pre-owned vehicles once a week.  Basically, there was one update where I didn't remove the vehicle from our website.  Upon learning of the history of said vehicle, it was removed from our websites.  Mr. [redacted] was provided photographs showing his vehicle was made into a courtesy shuttle for the dealership.  Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, when Mr. [redacted] first voiced his displeasure about the price of his vehicle, he was offered to take back the vehicle upon the refund of the money that was paid to him.  Mr. [redacted] would have been free to do whatever with the vehicle without ANY financial loss on his part.  Mr. [redacted] REFUSED this offer.  Again, all Mr. [redacted] had to do was return our money and he could have taken his car back.  He refused.  Our attached response will provide further detail.

Regards,
[redacted] October 20, 2015 It is inconceivable and downright appalling for the GM of Krebs to force feed me that the listing of the 2012 Patriot on their website as a certified pre-owned was a MISTAKE, because MISTAKES don’t occur and continue for 2-weeks without something being done to correct them. Additionally HE didn’t realize and LEARN of his MISTAKE; I brought the listing of the 2012 Patriot to their attention upon visiting the dealership (9/21/15).  That’s the real reason why the 2012 Patriot was removed from the website the very NEXT DAY.  These are examples of deceptive and unethical business practices. Furthermore, throughout all of this dialogue, the GM has deliberately NEVER addressed the fact that his 2 WEEK MISTAKE caused State Farm Insurance to decline the diminished actual cash value claim payment they would have made; in the process we lost thousands.

The provide good quality of products, competitive prices and knowledgeable staffs. I bought a car from Krebs Chrysler Jeep Dodge using credit score. The financial staff was professional, she made everything easy and stress-free. I highly recommend this dealership.

Needed a certain Truck, needed a certain payment, and they made it happen! Talked with a very friendly salesman and he was very knowledgeable. He let me tell him what I was in need of and he did everything he possibly could to make it happen. Thanks and I highly recommend Krebs Chrysler Jeep Dodge to anyone.

Review: Owner, Christopher K[redacted] was totally aware that my trade-in vehicle, a 2012 Jeep Patriot was recently fully repaired from an accident. Yet. he deliberately declared a low purchase value, as compared to the Kelley Blue Book value, for the 2012 Patriot, citing these reasons: (1) vehicle sustained substantial damages, (2) air bag was deployed, and most importantly (3) I cannot sell the 2012 Patriot on my lot as a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED. These reasons were clearly pointed out to me by Christopher K[redacted] in a face to face meeting.

After selling my 2012 Patriot to Krebs, the vehicle was posted on their website for the next TWO WEEKS as a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED and was on their lot as such. When I asked for an explanation, the 2012 Patriot conveniently disappeared from the website the next day.

Lying directly to a new customer's face are deceptive and unethical business practices and are no way to treat a new customer that just bought a new vehicle at the dealership.

Additionally these deceptive and unethical business practices were made clear to me by State Farm Insurance Company and compromised their ability to settle a diminished actual cash value claim made by me, which ultimately cost me thousands.

A certified letter was sent to Krebs requesting a fair monetary compensation offer, but to no avail.Desired Settlement: A fair monetary compensation offer should be made to me by Krebs.

Review: [redacted]Copy of letter being submitted to Dodge[redacted]I am writing to formally complain of what I believe to be fraudulent representation of a vehicle sold to me by Krebs Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Gibsonia Pa. I feel this vehicle was fraudulently represented because I believe a 125-point inspection was never done, per Dodges requirements. To date, I have never received any copy of the 125-point inspection. Problems that I have had with the vehicle, as well as observations made along the way help to suggest that a 125-point inspection was never completed on this vehicle, therefore this vehicle has been falsely represented to be something it is not. On July 5th, I started to look into buying a mini van. I believed I could not afford the payments of a new one, so I started to look at used. We stopped at Micks North Hills Chrysler Dodge Jeep first. While looking, we noticed some of the vans were certified pre-owned and some werent. When we asked the salesperson what was the difference. He did a great job of thoroughly explaining the certified pre-owned program and what it meant. He went on to add that a dealership could get into a lot of trouble with the manufacturer if they had vehicles listed as certified if they hadnt gone through the proper inspection. I knew a certified used vehicle was what I needed to look into.I have a very busy life. I work full time, commuting 1 hour each way. My day has me away from home around 11 hours a day. In addition to working, I attend school two evenings per week, and lead the youth group at my church. I am also married with two children. I tell you all of this with one point, I knew ahead of time that I do not have the time to fuss with getting a vehicle fixed constantly after purchasing it. I looked into what was to be looked at from the dealership when listing a vehicle as certified pre-owned. It sounded to me like a vehicle that would be free from any real troubles; a vehicle looked over much the way any website would tell you to look over a used vehicle yourself. I found a certified pre-owned 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan at Krebs, and went to look at it. One of the first things I noticed about the vehicle was that the bumper was mis-aligned. It wasnt horrible, but it appeared to have been repainted. I asked the salesperson if she knew what happened to the bumper, and she assured me it wasnt wrecked because it isnt on the carfax report. I have worked in the automotive industry most of my life. I know a repainted panel when I see one. The second thing I noticed was that the front tires were almost 0% tread. The warning strips between the tread were level with the tread. The rear tires werent far behind. The very tip of Lincolns hair was just into the tread, so maybe 3/32 tread left on those also. So here was a vehicle being sold as though it had gone through its 125-point inspection with tires that would in no way pass the requirements set forth by Dodge to deem the vehicle as certified. After I took the vehicle for a test drive, I liked it, and went inside to make the deal. I stated that I didnt think the tires would pass the Dodge certified checklist, and the sales manager said, OK, it needs new tires. We agreed on a price. I sent the paper work to my credit union, and came back that Wednesday to take delivery of the vehicle. Since taking delivery of the vehicle, I have noticed numerous things wrong that I now know to be on the certified pre-owned checklist. The transmission has problems. It sometimes shifts very hard into gear from park. It doesnt shift right from third to fourth, and from fourth to third going up/down hills. When set on cruise control, the transmission seems to waver, making me feel like Im being shaken forwards and backwards in my seat. The right front tire/strut makes noises on bumps that none of the other tires make on bumps. The right front tire shakes at highway speeds. You can physically see the passenger seat and passenger seat belt shake when this happens. The passenger side sliding door power door lock does not work. The air conditioning isnt cold on hot days. The driver power mirror doesnt move left or right. The rear view mirror doesnt return back to the original setting once it is set to dim. The driver side sliding door does not turn on the dome light. The windshield wipers are horrible. I contacted Krebs about my issues, and they told me to that it sounds like it is all under warranty, I should take it to a Dodge dealership and have them fix it. I was very shocked by this response. I called my salesperson back to make sure if I did that they would provide me with some type of rental or loaner during the time the vehicle was in the shop. They said yes. I contacted Corina Diehl from Diehl Dodge in Robinson, first, to try and set up getting my vehicle fixed, and second, because I thought she would like to know that a fellow Dodge dealership in her sales territory was cheating the system by not bringing a vehicle up to the requirements set forth by Dodges 125-point inspection. She assured me that her dealership could help and even had her service manager give me a call. He proceeded to go through the 125-point inspection checklist and explain further the requirements set forth by Dodge per item. He was the person who pointed out to me that I was supposed to sign and receive a copy of the checklist. Once I had dropped off the vehicle, I called Krebs to get a loaner or rental. My salesperson directed me to their service department because that is who handles loaner/rentals. The service department had no idea what I was talking about, and found it silly for me to be asking them for a loaner/rental for service being performed at another dealership. So I had to explain my situation now to someone for the fifth time. The person in the service department at Krebs assured me that this wasnt how Chris Krebs did business and that he would see to it that Chris would get in touch withDesired Settlement: I would like for the dealership to take back the vehicle and provide me a refund of my trade amount as well as tax, title, and license fees, and provide a rental/loaner for a determined period of time to allow me to find another vehicle elsewhere.

I found Krebs Chrysler Jeep Dodge online then I went to their showroom and talked to the salesperson to find a Jeep for me. He did it. He explained everything to me and I ended up found the right Jeep here and bought it. The process was easy and painless.

A - class service. Reliable, efficient, follow through, and very professional. The salesperson was always available and ensured I was comfortable throughout the process. I had a million questions given that it was an out of state purchase, and he made himself available at all times. Would do business with Krebs Chrysler Jeep Dodge again...

I recently inquired about purchasing a RAM 1500. I was greeted by a sales representative at Krebs Chrysler Jeep Dodge. He answered all my questions and presented all the possible options for me. I was very satisfied with the great service and am looking to go back to make my purchase. Best regards.
