We have had a number of large purchases with Kreckler and recently we purchased a costly womens ring for our 50th anniversary
The design was agreed upon but when the ring was received it was completely different from that requestedAfter visiting a few more jewelers to try and rectify the error, Kreckler would not help resolve their error, I was told that this ring was too masculine for a women but maybe somebody had a casting left over and that is why we got that design
In good faith we paid for the ring upon picking it up but when my wife recounted to me the commitment she was given
I then tried to resolve the issue but to no avail

This was a custom made jewelry item that WAS an agreed upon design before it was madeWhen it was picked up, nothing was said to us that she did not like the ringThe ring was picked up by the client on February 6th and we did not hear any complaints from them until May At that time, on
May 24th even though our policy is no refund or exchange on custom made jewelry, we offered to give them partial credit ($3500) towards the making of a new item only because it was a high value pieceThey refused this offer and we have not heard back from them until this complaintI think that we were very fair in offering this as it does clearly state on our receipts that custom items are not refundable or exchangeable
