Review: Dropped off high end sterio equipment to be overhauled 3/7/2011,also informed the service manager Mr [redacted] of a buzzing sound from one of the amps.Finally picked up equipment February 2012,after getting it home discovered there was still a buzzing sound from one of the amps.Returned the amp a week later and still to this point it hasn't been repaired.Numerance phone and emails,always said part was due in any day.I also sent a FedEx letter to the chairman of [redacted] Industries ,[redacted],that listed all dates and my concerns but no response.They had my equipment for over 33 months now and over five thousand dollars of mine. Also I never received a payed bill for my repairs,even though I requested one a number of times.Desired Settlement: Two new amplifiers comparable with my equipment

Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled Krell KAV-250a. $100 is to be issued after installation of fuses. Krell refuses. No indication that "program" had "ended".

"...Krell has issued a recall for its KAV-250a, KAV-250a/3, KAV-500i and KAV-1500 amps due to overheating concerns. For their trouble, affected owners will get certification of a fuse replacement and a $100 check."

"Krell says a certificate of fuse replacement must be noted upon successful replacement of the fuses. Upon verification Krell will issue a $100 check to the person responsible for the fuse replacement."
