ground to the motor and should have worked. A separate power and ground source was applied to the motor to which the motor was still inoperative. Found connection to be burnt as well. Was recommended to the customer to replace both the blower motor and the connector. Customer declined repairs and the vehicle left the shop. Customer was given the correct diagnosis at the current condition the vehicle was in our shop. As with all electrical parts they can fail intermittently and began working on their own accord or after being disturbed. Brushes fail inside the motor and after being jarred or hit with a screwdriver often times they will begin to work again which is true of most electrical motors. Ultimately our diagnosis was correct and likely the motor will fail again at a later date. We have been in business for over 40 years and for someone to accuse us of taking advantage of them offends me, as this was most definitely not the case. Prior to receiving this complaint we had already talked to the customer after receiving one of the many other forms of complaints that was filed and after further explanation of how we came to our diagnosis and further conversation with the customer we agreed to refund her money.
