[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: As I said before, the car was brought in due to an overheating problem which after inspecting, the mechanic concluded that it was a bad water pump and also stated I needed a valve cover gasket which everything he determined I needed I agreed to have repairedI am resubmitting my bill which shows that the mechanic is not being honest when he stated that I declined to have the valve cover gasket repaired, it clearly shows that I was charged for that repairAfter paying for the repairs that were informed to me to be the cause of my overheating problem the last thing I expected was to encounter the same problem that was supposed to have been fixedThe mechanic states that a month later I brought it in with a blown head gasket but fails to mention that the only reason the head gasket was blown was because the car overheated, which brings us back to my car still overheating after I paid for repairs that were supposed to rectify that problem Regards, [redacted]

Customer drove the vehicle over miles after the water pump replacementAgain, the water pump is fineIf the radiator were to fail who would be responsible for that repair? My car was having an overheating issueI then decided to take it to Kresgeville garage to have it servicedAbout 2-weeks after receiving my car back I took it on about a forty-five minute drive and it overheated againI went back to the same mechanic (Tim M***) and told him to look at my vehicleHe did, and with the news that now my engine is blownTim is also refusing to fix my car with any exemptionsHe claimed, "I replaced the water pump so that fixed the cars overheating issueAnything with the motor was not caused by his repairs"I've recently started working and I need my car back

I am rejecting this response because: As I said before, the car was brought in due to an overheating problem which after inspecting, the mechanic concluded that it was a bad water pump and also stated I needed a valve cover gasket which everything he determined I needed I agreed to have repaired. I am resubmitting my bill which shows that the mechanic is not being honest when he stated that I declined to have the valve cover gasket repaired, it clearly shows that I was charged for that repair. After paying for the repairs that were informed to me to be the cause of my overheating problem the last thing I expected was to encounter the same problem that was supposed to have been fixed. The mechanic states that a month later I brought it in with a blown head gasket but fails to mention that the only reason the head gasket was blown was because the car overheated, which brings us back to my car still overheating after I paid for repairs that were supposed to rectify that problem.  Regards,

Mr [redacted] dropped his 2005 [redacted] without an appointment on or around 12-15-2015. The vehicle had no antifreeze and was leaking at the waterpump.  The customer was given prices and approved the repairs. The vehicle was road tested with no leaks or overheating....

On 2-16-16 notified customer the vehicle had a blown headgasket. Mileage on vehicle 238214. Mr [redacted] declined the repair of headgasket stating it was fault of our garage.  Mr [redacted] refused to pay work order and had Jim C[redacted] tow his car from our location on 2-22-16.  When the vehicle left in December it was working with no antifreeze leaking and overheating. It has been brought to our attention that prior to Mr. [redacted] returning the vehicle by trailor he was over abusing the vehicle. This along with high mileage is the possible cause of the blown headgasket.I have included copies of repair invoices.

Customer drove the vehicle over 1000 miles after the water pump replacement. Again, the water pump is fine. If the radiator were to fail who would be responsible for that repair? It was NOT stated valve cover gaskets were declined and copies were provided March 21 2016.The headgasket was declined and the customer had the vehicle removed. In a final response the vehicle left with no overheating in December. It was driven over 1000 miles( more than 45 minutes) and another component failed. At a mileage of over 230000 more cooling components or other components may fail.Thank you Kelley M[redacted]Kresgeville Garage
